[Heads up! Idk if this is valid but there's the word s**cide being mentioned one time below, pretty sure you can see it already.
And steamy love ahead! I'll use the same '!!!!' thing where it starts and ends, so it's easier for those of you who want to skip.Enjoy!]
Narrator's POV
The stress fever that had bothered Jungkook had completely disappeared and the two had now started going back to their university. They both had quite a bit to catch up on, and a good amount of their acquaintances and friends had asked them how they were doing now, as the news of Taehyung's 'suicide' and his parents' fiasco had spread like wildfire; which was strange to Taehyung because nobody (except his hyungs, of course) had been really interested in him or his life like that. For Jungkook, on the other hand, it was weird but he had also somewhat expected it. Anyone who knew him would know he and Taehyung were inseparable, so most kids had known he would've been affected by it all too.
Luckily, it wasn't unbearably hectic, and they had plenty of help from their mates who shared the same classes as them. Contrary to what Taehyung had expected, Jihun and his minions had stayed away from them too, which was strange. In any other circumstances, they'd be the first ones to pull his leg with one thing or another. When the thought was shared with his boyfriend, he also agreed it was kind of strange. They both wondered if it might've had anything to do with that odd meeting at the café the other day, but they didn't let it bother them too much and continued on with their days, grateful that things were finally going smoothly now.
At one point, they met up with Ahana during lunch and caught up with her; and boy was she delighted to hear that Taehyung and Jungkook were now officially boyfriends. She almost squeaked from happiness, as if she had won a lottery or a bet that owed her a hundred bucks.
As from her side, they found out that she'd been developing this huge crush on one of her friends in her business class. Her name was Nylah, and apparently, she was a lesbian. Which meant Ahana potentially had a chance, but she wasn't sure if Nylah was alright with the little to no sex thing, so she didn't want to bring up her hopes too much.
The boys being themselves however, said that she wouldn't know unless she tried— which, fair. They were right. But she was still allowed to feel nervous about it all. Though, safe to say, she didn't get back to her day without promising Taehyung (who was the most insistent) that she would come around and try talking with Nylah sometime soon. Preferably before the end of first year.
And now, the two boys were at home, back from uni after quite a few classes. They were now done catching up with everything they had missed the past few weeks, which meant that the weekend where the couple was going to stay at Jungkook's hometown was nearing.
Taehyung set down the last of his fineliners and markers in order once again after completing the last bit of the project he had to finish by the day after tomorrow and stood up and stretched from his seat, the sound of the chair scraping against the floor catching Jungkook's attention.
The brunet set aside his phone on the bedside table and beckoned his boyfriend over to him, and Taehyung didn't waste anymore time.
"Done?"
"All done. What about your stuff?"
"I've finished all of it too. You know what that means, baby?"
Taehyung nodded excitedly and plopped himself on Jungkook's lap, straddling him, fingers grazing over the back of the brunet's hair, "I get to meet your family this weekend!"
Jungkook chuckled deeply, amused by how excited and hopeful his boyfriend looked to meet his parents and spend some time with his family. Soon enough, Taehyung would officially be part of the family too, considering his mum already saw Taehyung as her son-in-law— which she had expressed quite a few times through video calls, and every time, the pair would blush furiously. Adorable, Jungkook's mother would say.
