Aaron's P.O.V

As I'm in my home office, looking over some papers, my phone starts ringing and when I see Felicity's name on it, I smile devilishly

"Hi... It's me..." she says weakly

"Heyy! It's daddy's little girl!" I say teasing her and I swear I can hear her face-palming herself

"Please, don't..."

"Aww but why? It sounds great!"

"No, it does not! I was drunk, I didn't know what I was saying!"

"Oh, I respectfully disagree! U see, when we're drunk, our real self comes out..."

"Oh yeah? I thought that our true self comes out during sex!" she says, making me bite my lips, trying to stop the urge to laugh, remembering when I told her about that

"Yeah, but that applies only to women... The drunk thing applies to everyone!"

"Right... Anyway, can u please forget about it? I'm very emotional and stressed these days and that's probably why I said all those things..."

"I understand... Ok, I'll forget about it, don't worry about it!"

"Thank u..."

"U're welcome! Is that all?"

"Yeah, I guess..."

"So, I guess u won't take the job..."

"What job?"

"At the fast food chain... I told my friend about u and he told me he'd contact u for an interview!"

"I didn't get any phone calls from anyone..."

"Well, I gave him your email, didn't know if u'd keep your phone number after... U know..."

"Shit, I haven't checked my emails since forever!"

"Maybe u should check them now! I'm sure u'll find an email from him..."

"I will! Thank u... Like, really thank u! I didn't think u'd do it after how we left things..."

"Well, I'm a man of my word! And despite what happened, I really want to help u..."

"Wow... Thank u, again! I hope u didn't put your neck out for nothing!"

"If he says he's not interested anymore, just tell me and he will be! U're getting that interview no matter what!" I say and she chuckles, making me smile

"Alright... Anyway, I'll hang up now... Thank u again!"

"Don't mention it! Bye..."

"Bye..." she says and hangs up

Felicity's P.O.V

"The hell was that?" Nicky asks me

"Before we had sex he had told me about a friend of his that has a fast food restaurant chain and that he could win me an interview! Apparently, he did and the guy sent me an email, but I haven't checked since I left..." I explain as I check my emails

"Wow, he pulled through..."

"Yeah, looks like he did! I found the email... He really is a man of his word!"

"Are u smiling?" Nicky asks me and that's when I realize that I actually am

"Well, this was a big favor, u know? He could have just said screw it, but he didn't! Now shut up, I'm calling the guy..." I say and call the phone number he left in the email...

2 weeks after the last incident, I have had an interview with Aaron's friend and he had told me he would let me know, but after not having heard from him all these days, I had given up all my hopes, until one day, as I'm in the university's library studying, I get a phone call from him and he tells me that I got the job and that I should stop by his office later that day to take care of the rest...I get so excited, that without even thinking about it I call Aaron

"Aaron Moore"I hear him saying, making me cringe

"Hey, it's me, Felicity!"

"Oh, hi..." he says, sounding like he's panting

"Am-am I interrupting something?"

"Yeah, u could say that, is it something important?"

"Felicity! *groans* is it important?" he asks again after I don't reply for a while

"No! it's not, it can wait...sorry for bothering u!"I say and hang up

"Of course he was busy, u idiot, what were u thinking?"I mumble to myself as I get back in the library to continue my studying...

At around 8 in the afternoon, while I get out of my new boss' office and go towards the main road to find a taxi, my phone rings

"Hello?"I say without seeing the caller

"Hi, Felicity, it's Aaron!" I hear him saying on the other end and I laugh at the irony

"Yes, hi, sorry, didn't see the ID..."

"I didn't see it before either, so, I guess it's some karma shit..."he says jokingly and I chuckle

"Yeah, maybe...what's up?"

"Well, u called me earlier and I was kinda busy, so I'm calling now to ask what was it about..."

"Oh! Right! I just wanted to tell u that your friend gave me a job after all!"

"That's great!"

"It is! In fact, I just signed a contract and he gave me my uniform! I just got out of his office..."

"What a coincidence, I'm practically outside his office too, u need a ride?"

"I guess I wouldn't mind, I was going to get a taxi anyway..."

"No need!" he says but instead of hearing him over the phone, I hear him from the road behind me, so I turn around and see him in his car

"That was quick!"I say as I get in the car

"Told u, I was very close...where to?"

"My dorm, I've had a long day and I just want to sleep..."

"Everything ok?"he asks driving away
