First of all, I would like to say that reading the manga versus watching the anime for this part of the Demon Slayer story was a wholly different experience. KNY is a wonderful manga, but ufotable studios truly bring this series to life, and seeing this movie on screen was absolutely amazing. The blend of 2D animation with 3D elements really came together in this movie and it worked perfectly.

As for the actual content itself. If you're looking for a plot heavy movie this is not it. This entire two hour movie spans two major fights, with hardly any downtime. Granted, a chunk of the time spent is focused on the characters' being asleep and what they're dreaming about. This comes in the form of both comedic relief and gut-wrenching, tear-jerking character development. This movie is so chock full of emotions and from what I have seen and heard from my friends and online, a very large percentage of the people that watch this movie cry. I will admit that there was a part that made me tear up, but the ending when [REDACTED] dies, it was definitely sad but not enough to make me cry. That being said, this does not take away from the movie at all and to be completely honest, the Mugen Train/Infinity Train arc was definitely a great arc to make a canonical movie of, because I don't think it would have had quite the same impact if it was broken up into weekly-released episodes for season 2. That being said, I will say that season 2 is still going to contain things that will relate to what happened at the end of the movie and they are also going to be pretty sad, so we aren't even out of the dark yet, boys. Y'all anime only people truly do not even know what is coming, I cannot stress enough that I literally hardly read manga and this series has captured my entire soul so hard that I'm almost finished reading the manga for it and it's only been a few months.

Do yourself a favor and go see this movie if you're a fan of Demon Slayer. It's not going to have the same experience on a small screen, trust me.

My biggest qualm with this movie is the lack of Zenitsu content but we all know if that hoe actually knew how to use his power while he was awake this movie would be over in 3 minutes, homeboy is just too powerful. (And he really is THAT powerful... once again please read the manga k thanks bye)
