Summary:
Ryo, a young professor returning from research abroad, takes his pure-hearted, crybaby friend Akira to a decadent party, where things turn demonic.
This is actually like a re-imagining of Devilman, which was an anime in like the 1970s. It's a lot gorier and more graphic than the original, but it's still pretty good in my opinion. I really like both of the main characters a lot, they're both very good boys. It is extremely graphic, even in the first episode, so I'd say be careful if you plan on watching it. In terms of nudity the first episode is the worst, but past that there are some other instances of nudity, and it's violent through and through. There's a small amount of body horror.
I actually did not expect it to end how it did. I was kinda unsatisfied by the ending. And being only ten episodes, it did feel a little lacking, like it could have had more. But for what it was, it was decent. It is extremely dark and sad. I may have cried a little bit at the end. But just a little.
