Summary:
Kousei Arima was a genius pianist until his mother's sudden death took away his ability to play. Each day was dull for Kousei. But, then he meets a violinist named Kaori Miyazono who has an eccentric playing style. His monotonus life was about to change forever.

I actually watched this about a year ago, last summer. I've been thinking about rewatching it lately but I don't know if I am emotionally prepared, because it absolutely ruined me the first time I watched it. Most people already know the big plot thing that happens, but theres a second smaller plot twist that really got me. I'm not even going to pretend I didn't sob on an airplane because that's what I did. I had downloaded the last few episodes on Netflix last year when I went on vacation and I finished it halfway through the flight so here I am in between two strangers just crying. It was pretty funny, looking back at it.

Anyway, it's beautiful through and through. It has actual tracks of classical music and I really enjoy a lot of the stuff they played. I have a soft spot for classical music. It's calming, and the last song that Kosei plays is one of my favorite compositions.

I really really recommend it. I say that about a lot of shows, yes, but this one is one just about anybody can watch. It's not violent and there's no nudity or anything like that. It's just emotionally draining, I guess.
