Chapter 7:Kuch toh hua ha (Part 1)

In the canteen:
Parth was sitting with Erica and few other students. The other students saw Mishti and Naira and commented: lo aa gaye clg ki sabse wanted and happening girls!
P: shut up!
E: get lost before something happens with you guys!

The students got up and left immediately as they saw their teacher approaching the canteen.

M: Thanks a lot Parth
N: haa Parth, sach main agar tum nahi hote toh..
P: oh come on girls, main hoo na.. ( he said in srk style)
They side hugged him and smiled.

K: aap logo ka ho gaya toh police station chale?
P: haa main bhi ata hoo..
Abir nodded and hugged him.
P: Eri, tum yahi rehna aur apna Dhyan rakhna
Erica smiled and nodded her head shyly while everyone gave looks to Parth, as if he had grown 2 horns.

Outside:
K and A: ah ah Eri.. kya chakkar ha?
(Teasing him)
Parth smiled and said: kya? Kya chakkar ?
K: Abir hume bhabhi mil gaye
A: haa bro!
N: aur hume ek acchi dost, haina na Mish ?
M: ha.. vaise Parth, tum toh ekdum tez ho.. iss matter main! Waise kya bola tumne?

P: Mishti yeh na dil ka mamla ha. Maine usse bola ki I like u. Aur vo hassi. Tum nahi samjogi, jab tumhe pyar hoga na tab samaj main aayega.
He left with the others.

Meanwhile Mishti was thinking upon his words: "jab tumhe pyaar hoga tab samjogi"
Abir tapped her shoulder: chalo angry Chorni! #time to show your angry aavtar.
Mishti smiled at him and spoke: ek min, yeh hashtag kya ha?
A: wo na meri...
He wanted to tell about his sister..

Before he could complete, Kartik shouted his name and Abir went away.

Mishti s pov:
Abir ne baat puri nahi boli.. uski kaun ? Girlfriend? Abir ki girlfriend ha? Wo bolti ha aisa hashtag ? Lekin.. Abir ki girlfriend hi hogi..
Muje kyu bura lag rha ha?

With all these thoughts she sat in the car, absent-mindedly. She closed her eyes to have some peace.
Parth had asked his uncle to arrange a car for them.

Future forward: Mishti s dream
Abir is dancing with a beautiful girl in the ballroom, quite an intimate dance. After the dance, he sits on his knees and romantically proposes to her. The girl accepts and Abir picks her up and twirls her happily.
Mishti is standing in the corner and crying.
End of future forward

Mishti suddenly opens her eyes and screamed
: nahii
Kartik halted the car with a jerk.
K: Mish kya hua?
N: all ok Mish ?
M: ha.. vo.. shayad.. maine bura sapna dekha...
K: ok toh chale ?
Mishti nodded at him

Mishti instead of speaking in her mind, spoke loudly: U turn maro..
Again Kartik was stunned and stopped the car.
Actually Mishti wanted to say to herself: u turn maro apne khayalo se Mishti  but she spoke it loudly, shocking everyone.

Kartik halted the car again and looked at her suspiciously.
K: Mishti, phele dr ke pass chale ?
M: nahi bff, vo..
A: Aaray Kartik, chalo dr ke pass, shayd iske dimag ko ilaz ki zaroorat ha  (laughing )
M: dekho u ajeeb insaan.. zyda mat bolo..( angrily and frowning)

A: main toh bolunga..
M: uggh!
N: bas! Chup karo dono! Baccho se bhi gaye guzare hoo. tum dono.
Mishti stuck out her tongue at Abir and he also did the same.
Naira put her hand on her hand and desperately waited for the police station.

Rest of the journey was silent. Abir had observed Mishti when she screamed.
He thought: iss angry Chorni ko kuch toh hua ha. Lekin kya?

Soon the car halted at the police station, taking him out of his thoughts.

Police station
Nitin s father was already present there with the lawyer. He saw Abir and his group and approached them with a plan in his mind.

N s f: beta, ( looking at Mishti and Naira) tum dono iss majboor baap pe thoda taras khao.. beta meri parivaar main Nitin ke sivay koi nahi ha.
( Faking tears)

A: dekhiye uncle, apki yeh trick hum par nahi chalegi.. aap in dono se dur hi raheye and hum apna kaam karne dijiye.
K: haa apke bete ne kiya ha vo mafi ke nahi balki phasi ke layak ha.
P: sahi kaha.

Nitin s father clenched his fists and controlled his anger.
M: uncle.. kash aapne apne bete ko thode sanskaar diye hote, toh aaj apko aisa natak nhi karna padhta. Par afsos..
N: Mish, chal ab, there is no point in talking with him.

They walked inside the police station and gave their statements and also other necessary information.
The in charge of the police station was a lady inspector. She was very proud of everyone and applauded the girls for showing their courage.

She also gave her personal phone number in any case Nitin or his father troubles them. She also gave a stern warning to Nitin s father as in to not trouble them or else the consequences will be bad.

Nitin s father stood there, defeated and head hung low in shame.

After all this procedure was over, outside the police station:
K: congratulations, we did it.
N: yes!
M: haa, ab yeh log khabhi aisa nahi kare. I hope so.
Abir patted her back and said excitedly: good job angry Chorni!
He was loud enough for the passer by to hear.

A couple heard it and laughed amongst themselves.
Mishti gave a nice smack on Abir s shoulder.
A: ouch! Tum toh angry ke sath sath violent bhi ho!
M: you Ajeeb rajvansh... Uggh!

P: bas bas! Time out guys! Baki ka clg main finish karenge!
Naira.and Kartik nodded.

N: Thanks Mendak! Tum itne bhi bure nahi hoo
K: main toh kab se keh raha tha ki main frog Prince bhi ho sakta hoo.. tum hi man nhi rahi thi..
N: bas bas! Tumhari tar tar chalu ho gaye!
Kartik made a face.

Laughing and teasing they reached the college.
They were informed that the Dean was also fired for his unprofessional behaviour.

Since all this happened,all of them were tired and proceeded toward their respective apartments after having their dinner, since it was almost evening.

Mishti opened the door and both tired to entry at the same time, banging their heads.
M: ouch!
A: huh! Angry Chorni!
Abir held her head and again touched her forehead with his.
Mishti was stunned and his simple touch send chills down her spine.

She was looking at him, all surprised.
A: Aaray ab goorna band karo. Vo aisa kehte ha ki ek bar sar takraye toh jagda hota ha, isliye wapis takrana pada.

M: oh.. theek ha.. ajeeb insan ke ajeeb beliefs
A: kya kaha?
M: kuch nahi

A: suno
Mishti stopped in her tracks.
M:(turning) kya ha?
A: vo tumhe car main kya hua tha?
M: vo.. kuch nahi..tumhe kyu batao ?
A: ok fine.

Mishti turned to leave and he called her again:
Suno
M: kya ha?
A: vo.. goodnight angry Chorni!
M: good night ajeeb Rajvansh

Again as she turned,
A: suno
M:( irritated) ab kya?
A: kuch nahi jao!
M: uhhhh!

She frowned at him, made a face and shut the door of her room, while Abir was smiling. He surely loved to annoy her.
