"You okay?"

Elizabeth looked up from her seat on the Quinnjet to see Natasha take a seat beside her shakily. The redheads forehead was covered in a thin layer of sweat and her green eyes darted around from place to place.

Smiling up to Natasha wearily, Elizabeth shook her head from side to side. "I should be the one asking you that question," she avoided answering by turning the question around.

Steve was the one to find her after breaking out from her dream like hallucinations. Just by looking at him she could tell that he had gone through the same thing she had. Then when the two boarded the jet, they saw they weren't the only unfortunate ones.

In the dimly lit jet, Elizabeth could feel how shaken everyone was. Their anxiety, paranoia, and fear all echoed throughout herself. No one had expected the Maximoff to pull that little mind stunt. She lifted a hand up to brush over her throat, making sure that there was no bruising or red line left from the metal hand in her hallucinations.

Seeing that Natasha wasn't responding to her, still staring off into the distance, Elizabeth tried to make her as comfortable as possible. Taking away as much worry and fear as she could from her friend. Natasha's shoulder relaxed slightly before she turned to send a grateful smile and a quiet thank you to Elizabeth.

Shifting her eyes, Elizabeth glanced at Bruce who sat on the floor with his back leaning against the wall of the jet. He was wrapped in a blanket with his eyes shut tightly. No one knew if he was sleeping or not but they decided not to wake him either way. Just as she did with Natasha, Elizabeth helped Bruce to relax until she saw his heavy breathing turn into calm and deep breaths.

She had seen the news footage on the Hulk. Elizabeth knew that Bruce felt horrible for what he had done and was most likely beating himself up for what had happened. But all she could wonder was what had he seen to make him act out like that.

Knowing him, he had a lot of trouble dealing with the other guy. He had opened up to her about his, attempts. So she always tried her best to understand how he felt or help him feel better.

Opposite her, Steve and Thor sat in their seats with grim expressions on their faces. Steve looked better than the rest of them but she could sense his inner turmoil, no matter how hard he tried to hide it. Elizabeth always tried to make the team as at ease as she could, she didn't like to see them all tensed up.

But when she tried to help Thor, the god met her eyes an shook his head at her. "You don't have to do that," he said quietly in the dark of the jet.

At her hesitant look, Steve nodded along with him. "He's right," Steve agreed with a small nod to Elizabeth. "I'm sure you're exhausted. You weren't exactly in good shape when I found you."

"Way to expose me." Elizabeth tried to lighten the mood a bit. It worked as Thor and Steve sent her a uplifting smile.

"You guys should probably sleep till we land," Clint said from the pilot's seat in the cockpit. He was unaffected since the younger Maximoff twin didn't get a chance to mess with his head.

All three of them turned to face the two that sat up front. "Where exactly are we landing?" Steve asked with a cocked head.

Tony turned in his seat to face the three of them before answering Steve's question. "Barton said he's got a safehouse for us."

Elizabeth, Steve and Thor shared some questionable looks, all three wondering where exactly this safehouse was.

"What is this place?" Thor asked the team as they all trailed after Clint. Clint helped Natasha up the white porch stairs. Elizabeth stood back a bit to get a proper look at the house. It wasn't too big, but a family could definitely live here comfortably.
