Chapter 21

For me, true happiness doesn't always rely on money, possessions, and success. True happiness is when you feel contented with what you have and the feelings you share with the most significant people around you.

That's why it is important to cherish the moments and those people who have always been there for us despite all the shortcomings in life. Despite our flaws and negative attitudes. Despite our differences and social identities. We will never know how long we will be able to spend time with them.

After the picture taking, the food were served to our guests.

Humalakhak ako at bahagyang umiling.

"Okay lang po ako, Tito. I just passed by to greet everyone. I hope you are enjoying the food po..."

Tito Trivo pointed at Tito Miko.

"Trivo," Tita Rappy called him before she turned to me with a small smile. "Of course, we love the food, Izzy.

I'm pretty sure she's on the way here now. I smiled. "Thank you po pala sa cake and other desserts. I love the minimalistic style! Simple yet it looks so elegant. I'm pretty sure they all taste great."

"You're welcome, Izzy. I'm glad you love it.

"I don't usually see girls or women wearing a chain around their waist. Did you buy it?"

Napahawak ako sa tinutukoy niya at ngumiti. "This is Axasiel's gift po last year on my debut..."

Tito Brant smirked and whispered back that made her giggle. Bumaling naman siya sa akin pagkatapos.

"By the way... you seem more beautiful and glowing until today, Izzy. Axasiel's a damn lucky guy," he commented.

Tito Trivo smirked. "Kapag naghiwalay kayo, siguradong marami pang masisirang relasyon dito."

"Axasiel won't let that happen," Tita Dias said strictly and looked at me sternly. "And I'm sure Izzy is old enough to handle their relationship as well. Right, Izzy?"

Old enough... but not mature enough. She knew it.

"Of course, Tita Dias." Ngumiti pa ako. "I'll make sure to protect our relationship... and our feelings."

Gumuhit na ang ngiti sa labi niya. "Where is Axe, by the way? Hindi ka niya sinasamahan?"

"Ah! He went outside for a bit, Tita.
