Arisu's POV:

It's currently 12:30 and Adeline and I stopped by a restaurant near the hospital for lunch. To be honest, my sanity is still inching closer to cliff. I tried to act aloof when Kei kun asked Adeline and I to pick up some lunch, but I am scared out of my mind. I keep thinking, is he safe? Is he being protected. Can I trust Kei Tsukishima with the safety of my child? Can I trust the boy?

It hasn't been long since Shoyo was dead. Geez. I still can't wrap my head around the fact that he was dead for 7 hours. I sigh and take a sip of my tea.

"Arisu, I assure you that Shoyo is safe. Kei is more alert now than ever with what happened and I doubt he's even letting the nurses and doctors see your boy." I chuckle and nod my head. "Yes, yes you're right. He's fine. Anyways, Victoria and Kou, the head Alphas of the family are demanding to meet you and your family soon. I was thinking that we could fly you over to France sometime during the summer if that's alright with you. I didn't want to bring it up with Shoyo just yet because it's a lot to think about. But what do you say?" She smiles and sips her wine. "I think that's a wonderful idea. I was actually thinking as well that Shoyo should meet my family in Germany." I nod my head in agreement and we continue to chat about these past few days.

Around 1:00 we start to head back to the hospital. We got takeout as well for the kids and I got some popsicles too. The drive is a peaceful quiet and we arrive at 1:50. The both of us briskly walk over to the room Shoyo is resting but when we enter, we giggle at the sight before us. Natsu is reading her book and Shoyo and Kei san are blushing, looking at each other. "Excuse us love birds~ but we brought lunch!" They quickly whip their heads towards us and start spewing excuses which only makes Adeline laugh louder and I shake my head.

We brought the boys and Natsu soup, sashimi, tempura, bentos and 3 slices of strawberry cake. They had finished eating around 2:30 and were making idle chat while Adeline and I were talking to the doctor. "So young Hinata's condition right now is good, almost a little too good. It's quite strange really, this whole situation in general as well, but...Hinata's body shows signs of struggle, there are bruises all along his wrists, waist and neck. The marks on his abdomen especially the one his lower abdomen has reopened but it's not fatal or anything. We checked for any signs of infection in the cuts and his blood but he seems to be clean. We ran a few tests on him and saw that inside the muscle there was a lot of trauma. Of course, he is fine now and so is his body but he should not be in any physical activity for about 3 weeks. You will have to talk to his personal doctor because after we ran a few blood tests we found that his first heat should be pushed back by a month at least, due to the stress his body was in." Adeline and I sigh in relief after hearing the doctors news.

"This next piece of information I need to speak privately with Ms. Hinata, my apologies Ms. Tsukishima but this is confidential to immediate family only." Adeline nods her head understandingly but I grow worried as the doctor leads me into his office to talk. "Doctor is there something wrong with my son? You said earlier that he was fine." He lets out a heavy sigh and pinches his nose. "The troubling thing is that there seems to be nothing wrong with your son. Beside the signs of trauma and tension in the boy's muscles, and the bruises and cuts, his body shows no signs of being dead. Usually when a person dies, their muscles become rigid and the joints become locked because the cells are depleted of energy. While Shoyo was dead, his body was never once tense and the most appalling thing was that when I took a sample of his blood from his scent gland, the cells were still producing his scent, it just wasn't strong enough to be noticeable. My colleague came up with a theory that he might have been in a coma like state instead but scientifically that is impossible. I did notice something though in the x-rays we took before hand. I contacted a good colleague of mine, don't worry he is very professional and you can trust him. I understand that the boy is True Pairs with the Alpha Kei Tsukishima?" I nod my head and he passes me a file. I give him a confused look and open the file. My eyes widen and my breathing quickens as I release protective pheromones. "M-ms. Hinata please don't panic. I assure you that I will keep this confidential I swear." I look at the doctor and give him a worried look. The file had all of my families information, including our family history and blood line. "You are from the Alarie blood line yes? This puts your family in a hard situation already but this will be even harder to process so please brace yourself." I nod my head and hold my breath for what's to come.
