❦→[the point]

what's the point of the story?
when the hero's hung his head low
supposedly timeless glory,
shaped into a boat
broke and filled with water,
but you still try to row forward
is it even real?
planned lawful life–slaughter,

you fought and you lost
you put on a great fire,
but couldn't melt the frost
and it's alright,
for you let them win once, the liars
stop crying, be a knight
clean up your wounds and dispose off the knife

loosing for your faith was your biggest win,
just end the wait, baptise your sins
your lord, i don't beleive in him
but if you ever meet him, lean in
and tell him to keep you safe and sound for me,
for on some bright day
like the first time my eyes you'll see again

it's alright
i could hear you fight,
but couldn't see
'cause the poisonous chemicals gave me a blurred sight,
go away, let us be
taking you's your god's right
be all his, be finally free

(not that good but yeah)
