I woke up gasping for air, I had a nightmare but I haven't had any for 3 years and now I have them? I hopped to my feet it being 5 am once again. I didn't bother changing my clothes untill later.

I walked out of the dorm quietly and made my way downstairs to the common room. As soon as I got to the last step I saw Siruis smoking by himself looking out a window.

" hi Siri, why are you up so early?" I asked him walking his way.

" woke up and couldn't go back to sleep, you?" He asked blowing smoke out.

I had a nightmare, but it couldn't tell him that. What would he think of me?

" Hayden. Are you okay?" He seemed genuine

" if I tell you this will you not make fun of me?" I asked seriously

" of course I won't what is it?" He asked knitting his eyebrows

" I had a nightmare." I said averting my gaze to the sunrise

" if you don't mind me asking what about?" He asked

I cleared my throat" it's a recurring one. It always starts out with the memory of me and my brother arguing at a stop light the day he died and it ends with him coming alive and telling me that it's all my fault." I said gulping down the lump that was forming in my throat

" how often do you have them?" He asked quietly

" I haven't had one for three years, I don't know why they have come back" I said confused.

" I'm sorry" he whispered

" it's okay." I smiled at him before looking at the pack of cigarettes he had put down Infront of him.

" I'm sure James and Remus will be awake any minute now" I said rolling my eyes playfully.

And just as I said that sure enough one pair of footsteps came racing down the stairs while the other pair were gentle and quiet.

" hi James hi rem" I rolled my eyes at how loud James was being.

" hi love" Remus spoke in his morning voice

" what would you boys like to do today?" I asked them

" well we kinda just wanted to chill today" James said sighing

" we chill every weekend" I said rolling my eyes

" I know that but like by ourselves just the boys and I" James said Clarifying

" you are so confusing" James said shaking his head.

" hey! I think lily likes me!" He said excitedly

"Lies." I said shaking my head playfully

" I'm not! She's talking to me!" He said with a big goofy grin.

" alright jamsie boy whatever you say, I'll leave you boys alone. I'll go grab a book and go down to the courtyard" I said before making my way upstairs grabbing a book and heading back downstairs.

" Hayden?" Kes asked me tiredly

" oh hi kes" I smiled

" why are you up so early?" She asked me with a groggy voice.
