"Hel!" My mother rushed to hug me. "How was your trip?"

How was my trip? Well, it was nice, awkward, fun, traumatizing and incredibly confusing. To sum it all up, I would say it was a good change. But I wasn't going to tell my mother any of the weird things that happened there. So after not much thought, I replied with a simple, "It was pretty fun."

Although I wouldn't call the trip 'my ideal getaway', I actually enjoyed the ride back home. It was long way back home but poking fun at all the bad things that happened really passed the time. Lindsey wasn't surprised to find out that Josh had been seeing Odette. They weren't really an official couple anyway. She knew something like that was bound to happen.

Zayn, on the other hand, was cheered up by the rest of us. Seeing him forlorn made us feel sad. He's really such a nice person and he didn't deserve to be hurt this bad. Niall had brought along a music CD with all kinds of annoying pop songs that get played on the radio all the time. We sang along to the songs and joked around. And Zayn started smiling again.

Something else happened on the way back. Harry, Niall, Louis, Liam became the best of friends with Zayn. They realized they all have a lot in common. Now there you go. We have the perfect movie ending - the birth of what seems to be a beautiful, everlasting friendship.

Polly flirted with Harry, playing with his curls and giggling into his ear. And I still didn't know what to feel about Harry. I looked out the window when everyone else fell asleep. I was sure I didn't like him. But why did I get those silly tingles when we kissed? Why didn't I get them when I kissed Daniel?

Daniel.

I know you're probably annoyed and sick of me complaining about how my guilt keeps kicking me in the bum. But it's actually self-inflicted. These things that happened with Harry could've been avoided. But I didn't avoid them. Because I'm a bitch. A huge one. And a hypocrite too. I'm like a cross between a hippo and a dog. A hypo-bitch.

Harry's just so complicated. There's so many questions I needed answers to. Like, why would he tease me with things that hurt me and flirt with me at the same time? How could he stand Polly being all flirty like that? And most importantly, why would he kiss his own brother's girlfriend?

I needed to figure myself out as well. I'm going to be really honest here. I am so utterly annoyed by Harry and could never be with a person like him, but at the same time I like being around him. I kind of like how he sometimes touches my hands and pretends he didn't mean to. I just... secretly like how he makes me feel.

But don't get me wrong, I'm not in love with him or anything. I'm just really, very confused.

I threw myself on the couch and exhaled deeply. "Home sweet home." I said.

"Did Harry take good care of you?" My mother asked as she closed the entrance door of our house.

It totally slipped my mind that my parents still think Harry's really my boyfriend. Now is the time to 'fake break-up' with him.

"Um, Mum... about Harry..." I trailed off.

"What is it?" She asked.

"Well, we broke up." I told her, shrugging. I got off the couch and walked towards the staircase.

"Wait, what? Don't you go upstairs now! Come on over here and tell me what happened." She demanded, putting her hands on her hips.

"Fine." I sighed and sat on the couch again.

"Now tell me." She sat beside me and looked me deep in the eyes. I hate it when she does that because it really shows in my eyes when I'm lying.

"Well... um..." I murmured as I thought of a convincing storyline. "We were at the beach..."

"Yes, I know that." She said.

"And I caught a dory fish from the sea." I said. What the hell was I saying? "Harry said he wanted to eat the dory fish for dinner that night and I said No."

"And then...?"

"I said No because it was my dory fish and I caught it. He got mad because he wanted the dory fish so bad and threw the it back into the sea." I said. I am such a bad story teller. "And we had an argument and yeah, we broke things off."

"You two broke up over a dory fish?" She said and raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah. That's pretty much it. And we weren't really compatible in the first place-"

"You expect me to believe that?"

"Yes. Because it's the truth, eventhough it sounds funny."

"Your story sounds very fishy too." She said.

"Yeah because there was a dory fish in it."

"Well, there really isn't a reason for you to lie about breaking up with Harry. So fine, I'll try to believe the story. But he was such a nice boy though."

"Then why don't you marry him, Mum?" I said and ran upstairs. Well, one thing's solved. No more 'Harry talk' from my parents. I hope this will make them stop going on about how proper and well-mannered he is.

I could hear her saying things to me as I rushed upstairs but I ignored them. I looked at my phone and it reminded me of Daniel. Maybe he found out that what I'd been doing... maybe that's why he isn't sending me messages anymore. He didn't even reply to my messages. I needed to know what's up.

I went online on my laptop and went to his Facebook page. Nothing looked amiss. He just wrote about how good the pizza he had for lunch tasted, and about some jamming session he had with some friends. I went onto Skype to see if he was online, but he wasn't. I left him a few messages.

I decided to just take a quick nap. The trip to Vixenham was exhausting. I needed a break from everything that's been happening.

"Helena! Hel!" My mother's voice woke me up.

"Wh- what, Mum?" I said, rubbing my eyes.

"I'm going out to get some grocery. And your father wants you to give him a call. He wants to know how your trip went." She said. "I made Mac and Cheese and left it on the table."

"Alright, Mum." I yawned and got out of my bed. I changed into some jeans and a plaid shirt and made my way downstairs.

I dialled some numbers on the house phone and waited for my father to answer.

"Hello?"

"Dad? It's me. Mum said you wanted me to call..."

"Yes, dear. How was your trip? Just give me a brief summary." He asked. "I'm coming home early today. I'll be home in about half an hour."

I was getting tired of explaining how my trip went. The thing about my parents is that they think they know everything about me and they enquire about every little detail of the things I do. And it sometimes gets annoying...

But I told my dad about everything on the phone because then I wouldn't have to tell him face-to-face.

As I told him about the dory fish story and the same things I told my mum, I heard the door bell ring. "Oh, someone's at the door." I told him and rushed over to the entrance door.

When I opened it, I was struck with the biggest surprise. Daniel was standing at my door.

"Well, who is it?" My father asked from the other end of the line.

"I'll call you back." I quickly ended the call.
