"Xavi sweetie, don't you want to come with mommy?" Jennie asked sweetly to her son who's currently busy playing with his Xbox.
Xavi just shook his head several times while his eyes are fixed on the screen.
Jennie heard Jessi's chuckles which made her pout. She stood up and glared at Jessi at the couch
"See unnie? He doesn't want to spend his time with his mom anymore because of this" Jennie exclaimed while pouting
Jessi point at herself laughably
"Yah it wasn't me! It's Jisoo, she bought it" she defends while laughing
"Even so, you let him play all the time. It's not good if he got used to it" Jennie said and sighed
"Pft, he seems to like it rj why don't you just let him? Besides, his birthday is near"
Jennie crossed her arms over her chest and sat beside her. Jessi surveyed her claws and looked at rubyjane
"What is it?" Jessi asked confusedly when she noticed Ruby thinking deeply.
"His birthday is already next week. Where do you think we--"
"What are you saying? You are supposed to ask him not me" Jessi cut her off
Jennie rolled her eyes and stood up, she sat beside Xavi and leaned forward to whisper
"Can you talk to mommy for a while?" She whispered softly
Xavi look at her and nodded his head. He put it down and turned his body to face his mom.
Jennie smiled and caresses his hair
"Are you excited to your birthday?"
Xavi pursed his lips and shook his head making Jennie to frowned
"Why? Is there something wrong?" She asked in concern
Aren't the kids supposed to be excited and happy when their birthday is coming?
"Do you want something? Tell mommy" Jennie whispered while caressing his cheeks but he just stared at her face
"Come on sweetheart, you're making me worried"
Jessi noticed and walked towards them, she looked at Jennie asking what's going on but she just shrugged her shoulders worriedly
"Mommy?" Xavi called
"Yes yes? What do you want?" Jennie asked readily
"Can I just have my birthday here? I don't want to go somewhere far" he said slowly and lowered his gaze
Jennie and Jessi looked at each other.
It's not a problem to them if it's what he wants, however, they're kind of confused because Xavi really wants traveling that's why they decided to take him to Jeju but looks like they have to cancel the reservation now.
"Okay sweetie no problem, is that it?" Jennie asked smiling
"And you won't invite anyone mommy! I don't want to celebrate my birthday with unfamiliar faces" he said and pouts
Jessi raised an eyebrow and squat
"Why is that? I thought you want a lot of people in your birthday?" Jessi asked but Xavi just purses his lips, he looked frightened which Jennie notices immediately
"Sure, we will do that" Jennie said and smiled warmly at him
"But can you tell us why? We want to know what's on your mind" she added making him scooped towards her and hugged his mom.
