Harry POV:

Ron and I were gathered in the living room of the Borrow. We were both playing wizards chess, which I was severely losing, but Ron helped me with a few solid moves. The table was covered in various newspaper clippings and magazines so we decided to play on the carpet. Hermione was huddled in the corner of the brown couch immersed in a thick-bound book.

I could hear Molly humming in the kitchen along with the clattering of plates. Smells of roast chicken wafted through the air, which hinted at what was for dinner. From upstairs there were the creaky footsteps and the occasional chatter.

Disrupting the peace there came a bang from the nearby fireplace, and puffs of green smoke momentarily blinded my vision. There came a crash as two figures collapsed onto the floor. Molly burst in from the kitchen and gasped as she saw the two people.

She ran to the taller of the two and whispered something almost angrily and accusingly. The figure looked up from the and I could see their blonde hair. Molly choked at the sight of the young man's face. Or so I assumed.

"Mum? What happened?" Ron called getting up from the carpet and made a move towards his mother.

"Everything is alright Ron. Just go back to the game. Go. Go back. Everything is just alright. I forgot that... your father was expecting some work guests. Some trouble with the floo apparently." Molly gave a forced laugh as she helped one of the figures stand up. The figure was clearly a woman, she was wearing a long black dress out of an expensive satin. As for the second, they got stood up on their own but swayed slightly as they were off-balance. I swear that I knew the person from somewhere but I just couldn't recall.

Ron's face conformed to one of confusion but did as his Mom said no more questions asked. Hermione glanced up from her book, to watch the scene unfold, this was surprising to me only in the fact that when Hermione is reading it could take a hurricane to tear her away from it.

My eyes were trained firmly on the place where the two strangers fell, all the gears in my brain turning. I guess, trying to comprehend what just happened. "Another round then mate?" Ron asked, tearing me out of my daydream.

"Pardon?" I said, taking a second to take in his words. "Yeah, alright. Show me that one move you did last time."

Draco POV:

Mrs. Weasley ushered my Mother and me into the living room. I am nearly completely sure that the Weasel did some talking, but everything was far too hazy to be certain. My vision blurred in and out of focus and my Mother was barely conscious. Mrs. Weasley had both of us seated immediately and started tending to our wounds. She went between the both of us muttering episkey, and I felt the hard sting on my face.

"What happened to you?" She hissed under her breath to make sure the people in the other room could not hear.

Between haggard breathes I managed to squeeze out something relatively coherent. "My-my fa-father. D-dark lord th-there." My eyes pressed shut to avoid any unwanted tears escaping my eyes.  I felt a warm liquid traveling down the side of my face, I was unable to tell if I had failed my attempt or if I was more hurt than I thought.

A mixture of iron and salt met my lips and I realized it was both. With great exertion, I pried my eyes open to see the look of immense concern written in the lines of Mrs. Weasley's face. I gave her a weak smile before I felt an overwhelming sense come over me. The next thing I saw was black.

When I woke up, I was in bed that I did not recognize. The sheets were bright red with multicolored stars forming different patterns. When I moved slightly the bed creaked and my ribs burned in pain. "Ughhhhh!" I groaned out and heard the door shut behind me.

"You need to be quiet- We have to keep you in this house somehow without getting caught." From somewhere behind me I heard the stern voice of Mrs. Weasley. To my surprise, I shifted positions just enough to feel that pain again. "You have a couple of broken ribs. What on earth happened?!"

Realization hit me. "I need to leave. All you are in danger now because of me. The dark lord will be tracking every move I make. I know far too much." My mind rambled on but I made my mouth shut up.

"Now just a second Ron I need to get a broom." Came a shout from just outside the door. Without any proper time to hide, Harry emerged in the doorway. He stared shocked and his eyes traveled from me to Mrs. Weasley.
