Chapter Seventy Seven

"hey Anna!"
"Olivia you look beautiful"
"billie, what do you think about channa?"
"Anna are you and chase back together?"
"Anna your new song is so good!"

Paparazzi bombarded us with questions as we climbed out of the black limo. Billie, Olivia and I stood for the paparazzi to take pictures of us. We were by the restaurant where chase is having his birthday dinner. He's texted me that he'll be here in minutes but he's late to his own birthday party.

"Anna, are you and chase back together now that your songs are out?"
Kevin asked and I shook my head with a smile.
"No. Chase is my best friend"

"do you guys have a message for chase?"
Fletcher asked.
"happy birthday lilhuddy"
Billie said with a smile
"happy birthday, chase"
Olivia said.

"Anna, did you get chase anything? We know your family got him a bus for his upcoming tour"
Someone asked and I laughed
"I got him something of course but it's a secret"

"chase!"
One of the paparazzi said and we looked to the side. Chase climbed out of his car followed by baron, Dylan, and Ryland.

"can we take pictures of you two?"
One of the hollywire paparazzi asked as we hugged. They were already taking pictures. We stood there anyways.

"chase, Anna won't tell what she got you. Why is it a secret?"
Chase laughed.
"I don't know man. I haven't seen it yet?"

"Anna, you still have beef with chase's mom?"
Both our smiles dropped. How can someone seriously be so fucking rude.
"I don't have 'beef' with his mom. I don't know where you even got that"
Chase I went inside after that.

"you okay?"
"you okay?"
We both asked in the same time making us laugh quietly.

"I'm sorry about the whole my mom thing. I promise she's not mean. She'll come around she's just-"
I cut his rambling with a soft kiss to his lips, making sure nobody is watching and that we're away from the paparazzi eyes.
"it's your birthday. Let's have fun and forget about that, okay? I know she's not mean or a bad person. I understand where she's coming from"
Chase smiled at me this weird smile. Like he was admiring me.
"how could you be so fucking understanding after all she did to you?"
I smiled.
"let's go inside."

We went inside and there was some people. We parted ways and started socializing with other people. The point of parties and dinners is socializing and seeing other people.

"tasia!"
I looked to the side and Noah was standing there with Dixie and addison. I went over to them and hugged Noah. I haven't seen him in weeks. Then I hugged the two girls as well.
"damn, Noah, I haven't seen you in so long"
I said with a little laugh.
"yeah you're too busy for us now. We miss you. Come over to sway sometime"
Noah has always been the sweetest out of the group.
"I will."

"Anna. You look great!"
I smiled at addison. We've never been that close but we were mostly on good terms as long as Bryce isn't involved. She never really liked our friendship even though we're literally like siblings.
"awww thanks addi! You look amazing too!"

"so.. Are you going to Miami with Chase?"
Noah asked and I shook my head.
"they're taking a boys trip. Are you?"
Noah nodded.
"yeah. All of us are."

"I hate when they go on this type of trips"
Dixie said making me laugh.
"I know. Like dude, fuck the boys who cares."

"I'm single so I don't have to go through that really"
Addison said with a laugh as well.
"wait.. Isn't the whole jack Harlow thing still going on?"
Noah asked as confused as me. Dixie and addison rolled their eyes at the same time.
"there was never a 'thing'. It was just a night. What? Y'all never hooked up with people when you're single? "
I shrugged with a smile.
"I have."

I know for a fact Bryce is going to try and talk to her but I don't say anything.

After that we talked for a while about random shit and then parted ways again. I was having a drink and just watching around with billie and Olivia when Vinnie and Jordan passed by.

"damn"
Olivia said
"who's Mr sexy and Mr sexy two?"
Billie asked and I laughed.
"sexy one is Jordan, tall curly hair. He has a girlfriend and she's hotter than the three of us combined and really nice. Sexy two is Vinnie. He's single and also a skater"

"I call dibs"
Olivia said before billie could open her mouth and ran after him.
"bitch.."
Billie murmered making me burst into laughter.
"what's going on?"
I looked to the side and chase was walking towards us as he said that.

I smiled at him.
"wait. What about this one?"
Billie cut me off before I could answer chase.
"that's Dylan. Chase's roommate. Really nice but also hopeless as fuck. Absolutely no game"
I answered eyeing dylan as Bryant was taking a picture of him.
"you like Dylan?!"
Chase asked billie with a shocked laugh. Billie just shrugged.
"never talked to him but he do be looking cute."

"you should go talk to him. He really likes your music"
Billie looked at chase like he grew an extra head.
"are you crazy? Just because I think he's cute I should talk to him? Absolutely no"
I nodded at her.

"come on it can't be that bad."
Chase tried. He really wanted his boy to get with billie.
"yes It can. He freaks out every time he sees me. And he's known me for months. If you talk to him he might freak out and just scream at your face"
I told billie who looked horrified.
"Anna shut up."

"you shut up"
I said back, playfully of course.
"alright you two break up again while I get another drink and find Noah because he said we're going to the press conference"
And with that she walked away.

The press conference is in a couple days. Our whole group is going. It's gonna be in Miami. Chase isn't though. He's staying for some interview with ET. I have not been to one interview since josslyn was out like five months ago. And I'm not planning to.

"have I told you how good to look tonight?"
I turned my head and smiled at chase.
"not yet."
He chuckled.
"well miss white, you look absolutely gorgeous" then he leaned down to whisper in my ear. "I can't wait to see what's hiding beneath the dress though"
Chase whispered huskily.

"chase! Happy birthday man!"
I released a deep breath and tried to cool down my face as chase just started a conversation with Jordan with his stupid smirk. This bitch knows exactly what he's doing to me.
