Business meeting

Sebastian and Capri were getting ready for the dinner Mateo had invited them to.

How did this happen? Well.

Sebastian had gotten a personal call from Mateo himself, letting him know that he preferred a business meeting that consisted of a good cooked meal and fine wine, the other two important shareholders were invited as well.

Capri was dying inside.

"I just find this to be a little bit unprofessional, at his home? Oh come on that's a bit weird Sebastian".

Capri crossed her arms as she looked over at the handsome man before her, Sebastian was fixing the cuffs of his shirt and tugging the suit jacket in place as he gave her a grin.

"Mi amor, it'll be fine, this is more common for business meetings than you think".

Sebastian walked towards her, placing a lingering kiss on her lips that quickly turned into a passionate one.

He removed his own before Capri had the chance to grab onto him.

"You look beautiful".

She gave him a half smile, still not in the mood of being in the same room as her stalker and boyfriend, though she didn't have much of a choice if she wanted to keep Sebastian clueless of the real reason behind her concerns.

"Let's go".

"Oh amore mío, will you really not be able to attend"?

Mateo did his best to frown as he watched Marcella get dressed for a night out with Lina.

"Mateo you know how much I hate your business meetings, I prefer to go out plus I already promised Lina, she's been feeling sad since the last time she was here, she needs me".

Marcella pouted at Mateo, before getting on her tippy toes and giving him a quick peck.

She grabbed her heels and threw them over her shoulder, leaving the bedroom as the limo was already outside waiting for her.

Mateo grinned as soon as the bedroom door shut behind her.

He knew that all he had to mention was 'business meeting' and Marcella would be out the door before he could say anything.

He couldn't have her here, she'd recognize Capri in the blink of an eye and it would only make everything ten times more difficult than it already was.

Mateo checked his watch, eyeing the time as he realized they'd be here in less than twenty minutes, he froze when the doorbell rang.

Capri was on the verge of having a panic attack.

They had arrived a bit earlier and were now standing on the other side of the front door as they waited to be let in.

She stiffened when Loretta stood on the other side to usher them in, her eyes widened like saucers when they landed upon Capri who did her best to not look her way.

"Loretta, thank you for letting in the guests, ora puoi andare". (You can go now)

The old woman could only look up at the man she's known since he was a baby in shock, before doing as she was told.
