"I have to go na babe or else I'm going to be late. I'm doing three interviews today with all the popular networks. It's gonna be a busy day for me." Anton excitedly said over the phone.

"Yes I know babe. Sige, I'll let you go na nga. Just make sure that you eat on time. Wag masyadong magpalipas ng gutom. Don't forget to take your vitamins and your juice supplements. Magpahinga ka din after. Good luck sa mga interviews mo, babe." I replied.

"Thanks babe. I love you. Talk to you later. Bye." he said after making a kissing noise.

"I love you too, mwah. I'm going to the shop today and will buy some stuff for the house na rin pala babe." pahabol ko.

"Enjoy." he said then cuts the call.

Anton was taken to a safe place for his "apparent" recovery. It is three days now after that unsuccessful ambush.

Up to now, hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala na mayroong tao na magtatangka sa buhay at gagawa ng ganun sa asawa ko.

Bakit?

I can't remember anything that he has done to be a target of an assassin attack. Napakabait ng asawa ko, walang kaaway at sobrang linis ng record niya as a Governor. During his two and a half years of serving the people of Cavite, he hasn't done anything wrong.

I am really worried for his safety. He said that he can take care of himself.

I can't understand though why they have to tell a lie.

I was really shocked to learn about it but Anton was so calm. Balewala lang sa kanya ito. He was so enthusiastic when telling me about what happened, all of it, I think.

You can still get the media involved kahit naman wala ka doon sa pinangyarihan." sabi ko.

"Babe, you don't understand where I'm coming from. This is a chance that I've been waiting for. Politics is my life already, alam mo yan di ba? So can you just please support me for this one. I assure you that this will decisively help me and my career." he replied.

For him and his career?

"For you and your career? I don't understand." I asked.

He came forward and hugged me bago tumingin sa aking mga mata. He gave me his cutest smile.

"Correction, this is for us babe. For our future and our future children. We have to take this opportunity now. I'm safe naman so don't worry about me. I am thinking of the bigger picture here. Alas, we can also dream big.

Children? Wala sa usapan namin ang anak ah.

At may Malacanang pa?

He is so out of his mind.

I hate to say it but I have this gut feeling na para sa kanya lang talaga ang mga pangarap niya. Dahil kung kasama ako dito, he would have asked me first before deciding on anything that will affect us, as a family.
