Chapter 12 - Runaway

As soon as Gob. Anton walked away with Ma'am Ali, I sensed trouble.

Why would you leave your wife alone with a man just to talk to your publicist? Masyado bang confidential ang pag uusapan nila? This is a party and not a time for work.

But what do I know? Tauhan lang naman ako dito kaya mahirap makialam. Baka nga talagang need nilang mag usap sa isang pribadong lugar.

Even if I want to go and take boss Jema away from that man, I have to do my job.

"Keeping an eye on package 1, over." I said while following Gob. Anton.

My microphone is on my wrist kaya hindi halata na may kausap ako.

"Copy that. Location of package 2? Over." tanong sa akin.

"Main hall. White code, over." I replied.

Hindi na sila sumagot pa. They knew the meaning of white, no threat so far.

Sumunod ako kila governor. Hindi naman lingid sa kanila ang presensya ko. They took the hallway to the right, walking up to the farthest room.

Governor tried the door and tada, it opened up. Nauna na si Ma'am Ali sa loob. Pinalapit niya ako sa kanya using his finger again.

Ganito talaga siya tumawag ng tauhan niya. He doesn't know good manners pag kami kami lang.

"Yes po Gob." sabi ko.

"Stay here. Make sure that nobody enters this room unless it's governor Escudero." he instructed to me.

"Ahhh magtatagal po ba kayo Gob?" tanong ko.

He looks irritated with my question.

"Why do you need to know?" he asked too.

"Inaalala ko lang po kasi si boss Jema. Naiwan mag isa doon sa main hall." sagot ko.

"Sa dami ng tao dito, she will find someone to talk to." he said.

"Anton?" Ali called from inside.

Nilingon siya ni Anton sa loob. I can't see her but the governor's eyes suddenly lit up when he faced me again. Iba na ang hitsura ni Gob. Anton. May masamang binabalak ito, kasama si Ma'am Ali.

Hindi na lang ako nagsalita pa. Tumango ako sa kanya.

"Jema is a big girl, she can look after herself, don't worry too much. Mabilis lang ito." sabi niya sabay kindat.

"Copy that, Gob." I replied.

"Very good." he said while smirking at me.

Pasipol sipol na siyang pumasok sa kuarto. Ako na ang nagsara ng pintuan. Inayos ko ang aking sarili at nagpalakad lakad lang doon.

After 5 minutes, wala pang sign from them. Okay, malapit na siguro silang lumabas. May mga kaluskos akong naririnig sa loob kaya idinikit ko ang aking tenga sa pintuan.

"Ooohhh, yes!!! Suck it hard. Like that baby." dinig ko ang ungol ni Gob. Anton.

My eyes went wide. They are having sex.

I don't know what to do. I am not the one doing the dirty but I felt ashamed for what the governor is doing. How can he do that to boss Jema?

Dinig na dinig ko ang mga ungol nila dahil sobrang tahimik dito sa lugar.

Huminga ako ng malalim at tumayo na lang sa may gilid. I tried blocking the sounds coming from the inside. The stillness of the place was disturbed by footsteps.
