My poems have never been the most metaphorical.
Nor can I guarantee they give great advice like an oracle.
Having been a stylist, I know my words aren't wound like fine silk.
But simple phrases can nourish ideas like muscles with milk.
Between which library authors would my works fit between?
Would my books be bound in fabric or would they have a sheen?
What audience would sit with my writing in hand?
While grateful, I'm not sure who'd find my work so grand.
