Poetry remains before a great throne with a solid stance.
No other interest seems to stand a sliver of a chance.
Focusing on other hobbies leads to internal fighting.
For some reason, my faithful heart always comes back to writing

I can read through pages of poems several hours each day.
That hobby is enjoyable for someone living my way.
And it's neat to observe authors the masses empathize with.
It is fascinating to see the impact of each wordsmith

I hope to one day make a positive impact on the world.
But I'm unsure of what messages I want to have unfurled.
For now, my thoughts are written in poetic form as if pearled.
Hopefully, they never negatively impact my dream world
