Music to my Ears

A wren stood on the park bench where I took a seat.

It sung in my ear and the tune was rather sweet.

But soon I was rattled as its melody did change.

It mimicked the taunting in my chatroom exchange.

There wasn't ill will, but mischief befitting a cat.

The bird had a way of dramatizing the chat.

I found myself attached to the petite creature.

'Twas new and yet a most marvelous site feature.

Hopefully, the tiny bird swings around again.

I'll have to tell people of my old friend named Ren.
