I realize there was a lot in my teens I never knew.
Life was simple, and the world did offer a beautiful view.
Discomfort never crept over me while together with you.
It never felt as though I had to bid my safety adieu.
The world was always getting filtered through such a pretty hue.
Now that I'm older, I want to help other people pull through.
If the road gets bumpy, I hope you already know I grew.
