After being lied to, I cried on my bed.
Coolness crept in my room, and the lights shone red.
I found myself retracing where I had tread.
My trust in people collapsed, pulled by a thread.
Though, I'm glad my friends' characters remain read.
Those I knew did not cause a single tear shed.
However, strangers did fill me with some dread.
Nowadays, I don't feel fearfully mislead.
