Fog

I've just now woken from a long dream.

The waters are rough on life's stream.

My mind yearns for repose once again.

Perhaps, I'll write about it with my pen.

---

Hopefully, my poems lead to placidity.

A time shall come without turbidity.

The fog has made thinking a real difficulty.

I don't want to come across ridiculously.

---

Waking up from a dream can make me silly.

But there's no folly in finding shelter when chilly.

Cold weather accompanies clouds and rain.

And I don't want to put my heart through strain.
