Chapter 21: Ryota Kaedehara wants to hang out

Ryota's POV.

Ryota: Well...........

I postponed my plans on Saturday because of the heavy rain.

So, I had to do my shopping on the next day.

Ryota: Alright.

I put my clothes on which consists of black pants, orange sneakers, white t-shirt and an orange jacket.

Koharu: By the way, Ryo-chan.

Ryota: Hm?

I went over to the counter of our café as mom hands me her card.

Ryota: Wait, you serious?

Koharu: Yep. Well.........we've been making bank ever since. Your dad and I have been saving for so many years, besides from Saya's inheritance that is.

Koharu: Don't worry, with our booming business, we'll be fine.

I took the card and kept it on my pocket. Then I left the café as the bell rings.

Ryota: I'll be off.

Koharu: Have a safe trip.

I went on my way to the train station as I received a call from Hayasaka-san.

Ryota: Hello.

Hayasaka: Hello, Kaedehara-kun? I forgot to ask this but, where are we going to meet?

Ryota: Would you mind near the train station?

Hayasaka: Sure but, why there?

Ryota: You see, I decided that I'll go to the mall and buy the groceries there.

Hayasaka: I see. Then......

Ryota: So, how about it?

Hayasaka: Sure. I'll be heading there now.

Ryota: Be careful on your way.

Hayasaka: To you as well, Ryota-kun.

Then she hangs up the call.

Ryota: ...............

Ryota: Wait..........what?

Ryota: Did she just........?

I shook my head as I recomposed myself.

Ryota: Nevermind.

I arrived at the train station and waited for Hayasaka-san for a few minutes.

Until she arrived. She's wearing white dress with a pastel green unzipped jacket.

Hayasaka: Sorry for the wait, Kaedehara-kun.

Ryota: Ah, it's okay. I just arrived here a few minutes ago.

Well, I just really arrived.
