"Sooo, how did it go?"

"What was her reaction?"

"Shut up Adam, Roman answered me first."

I clench my eyes in frustration as more of those words echo in my ear, "Can you two stop? Just stop?" I let out a deep breath to calm my nerves. "Good."

"How was it?" It won't pass Elias. No one but him, he has that stupid mischievous grin on his face.

"Whatcha expecting?"

I'm still hurt I did not kiss her on her lips, today would have marked one of the days I'll never forget.

"So that's it?" Adam asks

"What's 'that's it?' " I ask out of curiosity.

"The super story you just narrated. The kiss stuff bla bla bla."

Wow.

"You know what? Forget about it." This is it now I'm back to the other Roman. My friends bring that back to me.

"Didn't it go well Rome?" His face suddenly turned serious as he placed his palm on my shoulder, giving it a slight squeeze. I smiled at him so he won't get the wrong impression.

"No word can describe my feelings right now."

"Now that's what we wanna hear man." Elias slaps my back playfully.

"Let's just leave the kiss part." He gaped at me but then I sigh and continued, "I kissed her... On her cheeks and Elias quit doing that." I cautioned. I don't know what is fun in hitting someone's back.

"But I know next time, Roman will move to the next level?" Adam asks me, a glint of hope flickers in his eyes so I nod at him but then a thought crosses my mind.

"Where's my girl?" I haven't seen her, at least not yet. By the new look on the guys' faces, I already knew she'd tired them out.

"She was waiting for your arrival but ended up sleeping... That girl is a handful." Even if Adam had muttered the last part to himself, I was still able to catch it.

"Whose kids are not a handful?" Elias spoke up since he has Eli.

*. *. *. *. *
I let out a groan as I stopped my finger from typing further on my keyboard as I heard the ringing of my personal telephone. I scrunch my nose up, I hate being interrupted when I'm busy or working.

"Sir, someone's here to see you?" I hear the British tone of my secretary through the telephone.

"Who?" I rub my temple to ease the headache I was feeling. I'm sure I'm not ready for any meeting right now.

"Miss Doherty sir."

I am not even expecting any Doherty, who the hell is even Doherty.

I wait a few seconds, trying to remember if I ever came across any Doherty but no.

"What do you say sir?"

"Let her in."

I focused back on the work in front of me and took a small gulp of my water, maybe to relieve the headache.

When I heard small knocks on my door, I muttered a 'come in', whether the person heard it or not, the door swung open. I lifted my head from the screen when the door closed, my eyes caught those familiar chocolate eyes, I sat up straight on my swivel chair as she slowly made her way to me.

My emotions changed, the energy I have saved up for Royalty converted into anger seeing her face again. In my office.

She thinks she's so wise because she faked her name.

I should have known.

God damnit! Why her?
