"Behind every great daughter is a truly amazing dad.” – Unknown

"I don't know what to do now." My face turned into a frown. Royalty isn't making me have a chance to breathe, she just keeps whining on and on but I can't lash out on her, can I?

"Daddy." She called, "I don't want to go. To school."

Maybe that's the only solution right? I don't care if she's missing school, I don't want her to be remorseful when she sees her mates at school with their moms. But I'm feeling really bad, that it was even turning into something else, something I rather not go deeper with.

Whatever she says, then I go with it. If that will ease the pain and sorrow. For the meantime. I know this is not going to be the end of it, I know someday, under any circumstances, she'll get to know her real mother and it does not matter if I don't trust Liz or do. I can't let my daughter suffer anymore.

My heart is shattered into pieces, she had been asleep in my arm for a while now and the first thing I noticed when she woke up was the liquid that was evading her eyeballs.

"It's okay if you don't wanna go to school." I stroke her hair, rubbing circles at her back.

"You can stay over at Elias's right?" She shook her head in the negative. "Miss Dicky?" She repeats her action again, "Where?"

"I'm going with you."

I sigh. This is what she wants but I was thinking if Liz comes over to my workplace unexpectedly, then things will turn upside down. More than it already had.

"Okay then."

Somehow, I don't know what had gotten into me that is making me feel so insecure with Royalty around me. If Liz shows up again...

You can't run away from the truth Rome.

What she said reflects through my ear, the sentence sounds ordinary to you but not to me, that is the same sentence that has been haunting me since.

But I would agree to it though, I cannot keep hiding Royalty from her anymore, she deserves to know her mother, I may not understand how she feels when she sees her mates with their moms.

"I want to eat." She whines, looking my way with her arms folded across her chest and a pout getting my attention. "You are waaay to busy daddy, you've been typing on that thing for soooo long."

"I'm almost done, you wanna go out for lunch? I can order a takeout you know?"

"Out. This place is so so boring." She quickly added, "but not as much as school." Making laughter erupt my stomach. She's on point.

She got off the couch, pulling me from my swivel chair.

She must really be hungry then.

I can't also ignore the noise my stomach was making so I took that as an opportunity too, normally, I will order a takeout for myself which is no stress because I either feel lazy sometimes or I get caught up with work.

We left my office building soon after, wasting no time.

No time to waste time.
