26. Leader

I pace around the room, impatiently. Kai hasn't come back since yesterday. Did they do something to him?

Oh god, I knew that we should have done a plan B. I look at the time and it's nearly 1am.
I sit down on the couch and sigh.
Then suddenly the door opens and I snap my head towards it. I immediately stand up as soon as I see Kai coming in. I rush over to him and he closes the door and looks at me.

"Kai! Where were you?", I ask
"Our plan can begin",is all he said
I stare at him confused.
"Bitch I'm a leader"

I start to smile and jump into his arms. He picks me up and spins me around. He puts me down and I look him in the eyes.
"I can't believe it!", I smile but get serious," I can't believe it! I can't believe you didn't called me!"

"Why-", I cut him off
"What if you died?!"
He smiles

"No worries, baby. You know I'm more powerful than all of them", he winks. I sigh.
"And that took longer than a day?"
His smile drops
"No I went to celebrate"
I raise an eyebrow

"Celebrate? What about me?"
"Sorry, forgot about you"
I look at him confused, something's off.
I slowly nod and take a step back.
As soon as I did, I see a hickey on his neck. A big one.

"Nice hickey", I say seriously.
He covers it with his hand
"Look, I'm sorry-"
"Save it",I say harshly,"Who we're you celebrating with?"
"No o-"
"Tell me", I cut him off. He sighs
"Perlita", he looks down.

"I can't believe you! We fuck like literally every day and she our plan succeed, well half, you go and fuck your ex?"
"She isn't really my ex"
"You guys were dating this entire time?!"
"Well, kinda-"

I slap him

He puts his hand on his cheek and looks at me.
"Dude, we had a one night stand and now we're friends with benefits!",he snaps.
"So what we did meant nothing to you?!"
"No"
I look at him with sad eyes but then I remember who I am.

I am Brianna Salvatore and there's no one that can stop me.

"Whatever, we ain't doing this plan", I say coldly and take my phone.
"What you gonna do?"
"None of your concern", I smirk

He crosses his arms
"You can't do that. We had a plan"
"And I thought we would be kinda partners in crime"
"Look I know your plan, I can always tell them"
"Oh no worries, I always have a back up plan", I smile.

He looks at me and uncrosses his arms.
"But I'm your soulmate"

I mouth hangs open with a small smile
"Are you trying to manipulate me? Plus Soulmates don't have to be lovers", I wink at him.
"And I don't care", he says. I laugh.
"You're really bold to think that I'll listen to you"

He steps closer
"Brinnie, you have a choice. Be in my team or be my enemy"
"Oh sweetie, how old are you? 5? I'm not your enemy but also not on your team. Just because I have different plans doesn't mean that I'm your enemy", I pause," Unless you're scared of my power"

"I'm not scared of your power", he rolls his eyes
"I can't recognize you. Where is the bad Kai?"
"I'm still here but- you know what go"

I step closer to him
"Fine,babe. Then I'll be your enemy. Your worst nightmare and the last thing that you'll be seeing before leaving this planet", I say and leave his apartment.

But before I step out of the door he speaks up:
"Finding Nemo came out in 2003"

I turn around confused
"We watched it one night and you said it came out in 2013. It didn't"
"Oh great, you know how to use the internet. I don't care when it came out.  It's under water"

Before he can say anything I speed away.
