Twenty-Six

"Oh my gosh, I feel like I'm gonna vomit!'" I rolled my eyes to those other contestants. Such nuisance! Them whining doesn't help us calm down, does it?!

"You ready, Chels?" I looked at him, and nodded. Woo! I'm ready!

"Let's give a round of applause for our next contestant to show as their dance. Come up here number 7!" That's our cue.

Right at that moment the song started.

[Now playing: Can I have this dance (High School Musical)]

We've been practicing hard, so I'm confident this will turn out great.

"Take my hand," I offered my hand.
"Take a breath,"
"Pull me close and take one step
Keep your eyes locked on mine~
And let the music be your guide" I started singing, and we did what the song said. He pulled me close and our eyes are locked with each other.

We just keep on getting better" both of us sang.

"So can I have this dance" I sang.

"Can I have this dance," Quintin second voiced.

"Can I have this dance," both of us sang.

"Take my hand," I took his hand.

"I'll take the lead." Quintin started singing and I can't believe that he actually has a beautiful one. Yes, we've practiced this but he never really sang—correctly. He's voice is mesmerizing. Our dance is just an ordinary dance but...

"Wherever you are," as the chorus started we also started flying. Yes, we've been dancing in the air now. Quintin's bit afraid at first but...  he kinda get used to it. Not to high so they can still see us. I can't believe we still argued for something like this. I smirked, I can't believe I'm actually having fun. We've been moving up and down motion not staying in one direction so it would be more—good. 

We just kept on dancing feeling the song.

"Can I have this dance~" We sang as we land, holding each other's hand. Our dance finally ended. I heard claps not to mention Melissa shouting 'whoo, that's my best friend!' Tsk! She and Shaun's already done same with Caleb and Vanessa. I can really sense something with those two—more of Vanessa. And I've been seeing Captain quite a lot this days and so does Hiro. Weird...

"Do you think we did great, Chels?" I looked at Quintin. I smiled at him.

"Yes, I believe we did."

"Both of you was super amazing, bro!" Shaun exclaimed and cling to Quintin's shoulder.

"Your argument with each other was worth it." Caleb said and chuckled, I looked at him. Crying helped him a lot. He turned and our eyes met, he smiled at me so I smiled back. 

"Come on, let's eat to celebrate!" Captain exclaimed.

"You'll pay again this time?" Reyver asked.

"What!? No! Bro Hiro here will." He said and smirked as he lean in Hiro's shoulder. He's been quite distant to us, I wonder why.
