~Chapter 22~

No One's P.O.V

Karl ran out from the backstage area and onto the crowded dance floor. There was no music, but the room was filled with the conversations of the students there. He walked through the crowd growing slightly anxious as he normally doesn't talk to anyone, but now everyone heard him sing his feelings. 

He looked around for sapnap but could not find him in the crowded gymnasium. 

Oh no...did he leave?...dammit, where is--

Suddenly, Karl felt a hand grab his. He jumped a little, but was relieved to see it was sapnap. He turned to face him as sapnap let go of him. Sapnap looked at karl like he had never seen another human before: his eyes were wide--he was at a lost for words. Karl started to blush.

"So?.......what did you think of the song? Did you..you know..like it?" karl said quietly as he rubbed the back of his head.

Sapnap nodded his head slowly, keeping his eyes on karl. 

"And...you understand?" karl looked at him shyly.

Sapnap nodded again, still not saying a word. Karl could tell that he was in pure shock. Just then, a familiar voice came over the speakers.

"Alriight boys and girls, it is that special time of the night were you get to dance with that special someone. Now is your time to ask them, and come meet us on the dance floor"

Sapnap looked at karl, trying to form words, but nothing came out. Karl saw this and suddenly got a boost of new found confidence. He smirked at sapnap, leaning into his ear:

"We don't need words baby, just take my hand" karl whispered

He took sapnaps hand and led him out on the dance floor as the song started to play.

Karl made his way through the crowd to the middle of the floor, and then turned to face him. Sapnap had a relaxed expression with a slight smile, and pulled karl close to him, resting his hands on karls hips while karl thew his hands over sapnap's neck. Karl layed his head on sapnap's chest while sapnap put his head on karls. They started to sway back and forth as the music started to play

Sapnap P.O.V

We stood on the center of the crowded dance floor, but it felt like we were the only ones there. I couldn't help but smile to myself: I never wanted this moment to end. I wanted to stay here forever with him...I finally have him, and I never want to let him go. All of my doubt was gone now. There was no "what if" or "maybe": it was certain, and it felt amazing.

I lifted my head off of him, and he lifted his head to look up at me. His icey blue eyes reflected the soft pinks/blues/pastels from the lights in the gym. I remember the first time I saw those eyes: I walked onto the bus an he was staring out the window; they captured the sun coming through like a magic spell..I was entranced by those eyes then, and every day since. He tilted his head slightly, frowning a bit.

"You are staring, is something wrong?" he asked me

"No, I was just...thinking about something"  I replied softly

"Like what?" he asked intrigued

"The first time I layed eyes on you" I replied

I watched as he giggled and looked away.

"I'm serious: I didn't know it then, but I loved you. From the moment you walked in, I wanted to know you, and be with you, and protect you, and hold you, and........love you."
