The Final Chapter

"Hey you heroes of the walls." Everyone turned their heads towards where the voice came from. A familiar girl with the ash blonde hair waved her hand.

"Hitch." Tanya acknowledged, she widens her eyes upon seeing an unusual sight, simple to say Tanya hated getting the attention.

"Nice eyes." She said.

"You're still blunt as ever I see." Tanya says with a slight mocking tone making her chuckle.

"Relax I'm just here to see you guys receive your medals." Hitch says as she continued to converse with the squad. Tanya, suddenly felt a slight tap on her shoulder making her face Hitch with questioning stare. She gave her a warm smile. 

"You've gone this far." Hitch complimented, knowing her since the military police, She can't imagine how Tanya managed to do it all and survived. Became a cadet, a police captain, an assassin, a prisoner, a corpse, a thief, a scout, and now, a hero.

"So tell me Tanya," Her tone suddenly became serious.

"Are you immortal?"

Tanya couldn't help but laugh at her words. "You seriously think that's possible?"

"It's the only logical explanation." She crossed her arms. Tanya was just about to retort when Hanji suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

"The queen wants to speak with you before the ceremony starts." They said. Tanya was a little confused why but decided to not to ask anything. She nodded, and both of them excused themselves.

Levi noticed Tanya walking away to which he immediately grabs her wrist. "Where are you going?"

Tanya tilted her head to face him. "We're just gonna see Historia." She answered plainly.

"Oh." He nodded. "I'll go with you." He said not letting go of her hand. Hanji couldn't help but chuckle at his response. 

"Relax Levi they're just gonna talk. Tanya isn't going anywhere." They teased, making Levi glare at them.

"Still. I'm coming with you."

"I'll be fine, just wait for me here." Says Tanya, yet even with his stoic expression, both of them could read that Levi doesn't agree with her. He didn't want to be apart from her even for a short period of time.

"But-"

"Stay. Here." Tanya said with a stern tone before walking away making Levi stop on his tracks.

"Haha!"

"You too, Hanji." She said that earned a scowl from Hanji.

"Eh?! But-"

"She said stay here, damn four eyes." Levi said grabbing the back of Hanji's collar.

"Oh come on, you're not even that curious on what they're gonna talk about?" Hanji questioned Levi's curiosity, and they were right. One of the reasons why he wanted to come was because he wanted to hear what Historia had to say.

Levi just scoffed and ignored Hanji's presence.

Tanya was greeted by Historia's warm smile but then, her mouth went slightly agape once she met her eyes. Which made Tanya self conscious, again.

"Y-your eyes... It looks great!" Historia exclaims, forgetting the fact that she's a queen.

"Please don't look at it." Tanya said quietly tilting her head to hide from her gaze.
