Kalani sighs as she lays down on her bed. "Hey bumblebee," a voice says as she turns to see Max. "Hey," she says as he lays down next to her. "Max," she says looking up at the ceiling. "I spoke to Rose, she says Klaus is the real deal and he is gonna murder us all if we stand in the way of him and what he wants," he explains.

"The hot British chick has a point," she says as she faces him. "How are you so sure?" Max questions. "When I was sixteen I went to Rome, for a while and I met him. I was trying to help this girl he was chasing and he killed everyone but me. He said some bullshit about how I was special," she says as he faces her. "How many stories do you have hidden?" He questions. "Too many to count," she says with a small smile.

"But I don't want to keep them hidden. I want to tell you everything. Can I?" she asks as he smiles. "Whatever you tell me will never leave this room," he says as she smiles before sitting up and heading to the kitchen, and coming back with a bottle of bourbon. "It's gonna be a long night," she says sitting down. "Isn't it always?" He asks with a laugh.
