Your eyes fluttered open.

I'm in my bedroom. I don't remember walking here myself...

You remembered everything from last night. Your face immediately flushed red. Did Childe really put you into bed?

You heard knocking from your door.

"Lady Y/N? Are you awake?"You heard a voice call from outside your door.

"Yes. Please come in." You called back.

The door opened.
An older woman walked in, "Hello my lady, breakfast is ready in the dining hall."

You nodded, "Thank you."

She took her leave without you even telling her to.

You felt your stomach growl. You haven't eaten anything since you've arrived. You got up and walked over to your closet to grab your uniform.
You decided to leave your hair down today. You curled it and clipped parts back.

Looks pretty cute if I do say so myself!

You secured your mask in a new place this time. You placed it in the same spot where Childe wears his.
You now needed to figure out how to attach your second vision. You settled on securing it next to your electro vision.

Isn't this dangerous? Having two? My delusion already gives me enough power...

But wait. It's wrong for me to doubt her highness. She believes in me.

You turned towards your door and reached for the knob. You opened the door and exited.
Walking down the long hallway, you noticed there were no windows. Still lit by candles, you basked in the faint light that reflected.

After a few minutes, you reached the dining hall. You opened the door, boy was it heavy. The room was filled with probably a few dozen tables. You were slightly shocked. You've never seen so much food before, let alone for breakfast.

You scanned the room. There was only one other person in the room. You remembered seeing him at the meeting. He was one of the other harbingers. You couldn't care less about him right now, all you wanted was food. You walked towards the first table and picked up a plate. The noise from your boots caused the boy to look up at you. He did not look like the friendly type. You shrugged it off and grabbed what you were interested in. You went to a few other tables before grabbing your chopsticks and settling at a table alone.

You missed Snezhnayan food. You lifted your chopsticks to grab a piece of food until you heard a voice behind you.

"Mind if I take this seat?" They asked.

It was the same boy from minutes before.

You gestured, "Go for it."

You continued eat, paying no attention to the one beside you.

"So. The twelfth harbinger, eh?"

"Yup." You said without removing your eyes from your food.

"Scaramouche." He said.

You cocked your head towards him, "Pardon?"

He had a twing of anger in his face, "That's my name.  Are you really that stupid?"

You gasped, "Excuse me?"

"Just kidding, y/n." Scaramouche slightly laughed.

"It's ange, to you. Listen, I don't know what you're trying to pull but I'm not interested." You snap.

He rolls his eyes. You throw him a glare.

"You seemed pretty friendly with that pest, Tartaglia. What's wrong with me?" He sighed.

You scowled at the harbinger before eating once more.

"So you're just gonna ignore me now?!" He slammed his hands against the table, "Pfft. You have no right to be a harbinger. You're pathetic."

You stood up, "I am done here. If you will please excuse me."
You rushed away from the table and right out of the dining hall. You were so frustrated, you just wanted to scream.  You needed alone time. You raced back to your room. You quickly opened and locked the door before throwing yourself onto your bed. You heard something. You turned your head and noticed a piece of paper.

Dear y/n,

Hey Girlie. Sleep good? I hope you did. Anyways, you weren't here when I stopped by so I decided to just write it to you and leave it. Her highness informed me that we are to leave for Liyue at 3pm today. Pack your bags, the boat ride is gonna be a long one! Meet at the harbor at 2:45~

- Childe :)

You giggled, "Oh Childe, of course he would draw a smiley face next to his name."

You cant waste another moment. You ran to gather your bag and stuffed it with whatever you needed. You didn't need much, so you were done in no time.
You said goodbye to your room once more and head out. You were slightly disappointed that her highness didn't talk to you directly about the matter with you as well. But that doesn't matter. You were actually excited to be adventuring with Childe. He's the one person's company who you don't seem to mind.

You arrived right on time. You searched the harbor looking for the handsome ginger haired boy. You could pick him out of the crowd in a second. You ran right towards him and tapped him on the back.

Childe turned around, "You're here! I was wondering if you got my note or not."

You smiled, "Yes I did. Your handwriting is very messy." You giggled.

He lightly punched your arm, "Hey! That's not very nice young lady!"

You couldn't help but laugh, "But I am right."

Childe sulked before peeking up, "Hey! Your mask, it's in the same place as mine!" He pointed with excitement

You smiled.

He then averted his attention towards the boat that arrived at the dock.
He held his hand out, "Shall we get going?"

You gladly accepted. Childe helped lead you up the ramp and onto the boat. You two never let go of hands as he continued to lead you down to the room you two would be staying in for the next day.

"Here is our room." He pointed.

"I- Our room...?" You asked flustered.

He nodded, "Yes Girlie. Butttttttt," he hesitated, "There are two beds, so don't worry."

"O-okay then. Let's head in." You stammered as you walked towards your bed.
You placed you bag down on the bed as Childe did the same. You followed his every movement.
Once he was finished he walked over and placed himself on your bed, "Sleep well?"

You nodded as you fiddled with your fingers, "Thank you."

He looked over at you with his piercing blue eyes, "what do you mean, girlie?"

"For taking care of me... I've never been cared for like that." You blushed.

He leaned his head on your shoulder, "You're telling me your parents never tucked you at night?"

You shook your head, "No."

Childe sighed, "Why not?"

You put one finger to your lips, "I'd rather not talk about it, okay?" You said as you gave Childe a closed eyed smile.

I can't tell him.
