Chapter 46- Endeavor Internship

3rd POV:

Izuku, Katsuki, and Shoto were to intern with the number 2 hero, the Flame Hero: Endeavor. They reached his agency as they were told that he was waiting for them in his office on the top floor. On their way to his office, they met paths with Shoto's brother, Toya Todoroki, also known as the number 11 hero, the Cremation Hero: Dabi. He helped them on finding his father's office as they saw him staring out into the floor to ceiling window and looked out into the city view.

"You three are late!" Endeavor scolded them as he huffed a smoke from his nose.

"We're sorry!" Izuku said as bowed his head down. Katsuki only clicked his tongue as Shoto had an expressionless face.

"It's fine for now, but I expect you all to be on time next time." Endeavor told them as the three of them nodded. "And what are you doing here, Toya? Aren't you suppose to be on a mission?" He questioned him as he only shrugged his shoulders.

"Finished it already. We found that there were smugglers near the edge of the city. We caught them already, so I'm basically free now." Toya explained as Endeavor nodded his head and approved of his good work.

"Well, now that you're here, you'll be assisting me with our interns." Toya nodded as he looked at the three and smiled. "Now that everything is settled, let's get this internship started."

Endeavor went to his desk and sat down as he ushered the others to sit on the couches in front of him. He then explained the details of their internship and what they will be doing during their one-week stay. They will be doing some patrols around the city, training, and a special surprise that he will reveal to them after the fifth day of their internship.

Endeavor then asked the three of them why they chose his agency to have their internship out of all of the thousands of offers they had from pros. Shoto said that 'cause he's his dad and has been training with him since he was young, so it was obvious that he'd pick his agency. Katsuki said that he chose his offer since he was the number two hero. His other reason is that he thought that he might be able to help improve the heat of his explosion to reach a whole nother level.

Endeavor then turned to Izuku since he was the odd man out, out of all of them in the room. His quirk is water-based while the rest had fire-based quirks, which are total opposites from one another. Izuku explained that he wanted to have some sort of resistance to heat and flames in order for him to cover that weakness of his.

Endeavor got up from his desk as he exited his office and the rest soon followed him close behind. They got back to the elevator as he pressed a personnel button that made the elevator go down into the deepest parts of the agency. When the elevator doors opened, it revealed a large training area with gym equipment and even a boxing ring.

"This will be the place you three will be training. Welcome to the Endeavor Fighting Grounds." Endeavor said as Izuku and Katsuki had awed faces. Shoto didn't have much of a surprise since he has been there a few times. "I expect to see some improvements from you all by the end of this internship. So, do your absolute best!"

"Hai!" They all said in unison as their training began.

They first began with warm up exercises as they ran 20 laps around the whole training ground. After 30 minutes, they moved on to jumping jacks, sit ups, and finally push ups, as they were now all warmed up. They split the three interns up as Endeavor handled both Katsuki and Izuku, while Toya took Shoto under his wing.

Toya trained Shoto in his hand-to-hand combat and martial arts skills since he needs to be all rounded if he wants to be a succesful hero. They then moved on to training his quirk and learning how to fully control his flames and ice. They learned after years of training that Shoto's quirk made him unable to shape his flames or ice. They always took the form of a spreading fire and icicle spikes when he activates his quirk.
