ARABELLA's POV

I think it's been around half an hour since my family had been staring at Lucca and I as if we had robbed their banks. I didn't realise how dramatic my family can be until now.

It's okay though, I'm nothing but patient, go on take your time—

But that's definitely not the case for Lucca, he's anything but patient and I knew he could only take so much before he cracks.

Here I was standing, raising my eyebrow at my family, wondering when they'll stop staring and there was Lucca who was getting extremely fed up and couldn't help but snap back at them.

"Can you all stop staring now, it's getting creepy." He muttered out shaking his head at them.

After a few minutes of them still standing like statues, Lucca and I went to sit beside Elric while eating some almonds that Elric always carries in his pocket.

As I waited for my family to subdue their shock, I couldn't help but take a moment to look at everyone and how physically different they all look.

My uncles looked tired and weak.

Uncle Alessio was gaping at Lucca, and I could see all the emotions swirling around in his eyes.

He was holding so much pain inside of them and I know it was affecting Lucca very much which he had expertly managed to hide from everyone else.

Weak— Emotions make you weak and Lucca hates being called weak, he despised the idea of anyone even thinking of him as weak and that's why he had learned to hide his emotions damn well.

My eyes followed to look at my oldest brother, who seemed to be gritting his teeth in anger but at the same time his eyes looked relieved.

He looked different though, not a hint of smile on his stone cold face, like he hadn't smiled in ages.

He looked quite bigger than earlier, shaggy stubble growing on his usual shaved face giving him a more rough and scary exterior. New tattoos seem to be revealing from his arm through his rolled up sleeves.

My eyes then looked at Dante who didn't look any different but a lot scarier.

I couldn't see the usual warmth that emitted from him, but instead it was replaced by frigid and hostility, which wasn't really directed to us but it was the aura that surrounded him.

Vincenzo and Elijah looked the same as the earlier two. Vincenzo had always looked scary and aloof but the similar impression reflected from Elijah. They looked a lot bigger and colder than usual.

Max, Enzo, Matthew and Emilio weren't here among my oldest brothers.

Finally my eyes met with Mason, the emotions in his eyes made me want to leap out of my seat and pull him into my arms.

My usual angry brother looked extremely broken and he did nothing to hide that.

'Lucien' is what he's known by in the underground, I'm pretty sure he chose this name in honour of Lucca and not one match has been played where he didn't almost kill his opponent.

I turned to look at the twins, Gianni and Giovanni and both of their eyes were stuck at Lucca as their eyes couldn't stop the trail of tears that escaped them.

Even though they were emotional and shocked, they still looked angry at this new revelation.

'Shadow' and 'Thunder' are what they are known for in the underground and just like Mason, they hadn't lost a single fight themselves.
