Chapter 31 ~ Back Home

Tim: Put the hand trucks in the back of the vehicle and i will pack everything in while you guys go inside the vehicle and get food to eat from the bags since we missed breakfast

*They do as Tim says but Noah is still outside standing because Dixie is still asleep on his back*

Noah: *talking softly and rubbing Dixies foot* Dix, wake up. We are by the vehicle and i cant go in with you on my back

Dixie: Nooo *whines*

Noah: So do you want us to leave you over here then and we will go away?

Dixie: *quickly hops off Noahs back and goes in the vehicle*

*Noah and Tim enter the same time and Tim starts to drive and eat. Everyone but Noah and Dixie is eating and they are all in their same seat as they were when they were going*

Dixie: *staring out the window*

Noah: *turns her head to face him* Hungry?

Dixie: *looks at him* Are you fucking crazy?

Noah: Huh?

Heidi: Dix be nice

Tatum: What did he do again this time

Tim: Dixie, calm down, this wont be good for your mental health if you only yell and dont talk it out

Dixie: Mhm, everyone input is needed in my fucking life right? I never have a say in my own motherfucking life???

Noah: Dix, what did i do? Obviously you have a say in you life, you have all the right to do whatever you want since its YOUR life

Dixie: What the fuck is wrong with you Noah? You wanted to leave me there by myself? Really? What if i was attacked or raped or killed if you had left me there? You would not have cared would you?

Noah: I was joking, i needed something to wake you up. I wouldnt have left you there, i swear i didnt mean it

Dixie: Im hungry

Noah: Me too, what do you want to eat?

Dixie: Umm rice and chicken

Noah: We dont have that on us, we only have canned food

Dixie: I know but when we reach somewhere that sells food, i will buy it

Noah: You will stay hungry the entire time?

Dixie: Mhm

Noah: I will buy us rice and chicken to eat then

Dixie: Let me buy it, you never let me do anything for you

Noah: Yes, i let you make breakfast for me yesterday morning

Dixie: *leans back on his shoulder and he puts his arm around her*

Noah: Would you like to go on a date with me later?

Dixie: What time?

Noah: 4pm

Dixie: I would love to. What do i need to wear

Noah: Anything, something casual. Im setting it up in my backyard since i dont have a drivers liscense yet to carry you out

Dixie: I dont care where it is, as long as im with you, im happy

Amy: Would you guys just date already

Dixie: *smiles*

Heidi: Eat a snack or something for the time being since we have a while to go to reach back into the city
