Chapter 64 ~ Dress

*Its 10:50am and Dixie just finished getting dressed and is about to exit the front door*

Dixies Pov:

I got dressed in a short, tight dress and wore a hoodie over it. Its been a while since i wore a dress so it feels really nice but i need to wear the hoodie to cover my bump. Since my bump is growing, the dress no longer reaches my knee, it now reaches slightly under my butt. I felt like i should wear a short pants under this dress but i didnt since i dont have any at this house. I grabbed my wallet and phone and went downstairs to open the front door when i was stopped by a devils voice

Marc: And where do you think you are going?

Dixie: Im going out with my baby daddy. Got a problem?

Heidi: Yes we do. We are your parents, who did you ask to go?

Dixie: Noah

Heidi: I dont mean who you ask to go with you, i mean who you asked to go. Who gave you permission

Dixie: Noah, my baby daddy

Marc: Babe, are you letting her leave the house?

Heidi: No!

Dixie: Ew. Mom are you realy allowing him to be back into your life and call you that?

Heidi: He changed. People change Dixie and you dont seem to realise that

Dixie: Im leaving. Bye!

Heidi: Oh no you are not. If you cant respect your father then i dont think you should be going out to lime

Dixie: Why are you all even concerned where im going now. Im already pregnant, what else can happen?

Marc: Alot of things Dixie. You can get raped, kidnapped, killed. Anything is possible

Dixie: Oh please. Dont pretend to care for me Marc

Why were they acting like this. They know Noah, he is a good person so i dont understand. I felt a buzzing vibration on my hand. It was my phone. Its ringing. When i checked its already 11:03am and Noah is facetiming. I answered the call and held the phone to where he can see me

Noah: Are you ready? Its 11:03am

Dixie: I have been ready since 10:50am but these stupid people wont allow me to leave

Noah: Well do you want to cancel then?

Dixie: Noooo, i want to go out today

Noah: But you cant go out if you cant leave the house Dix

Dixie: Give me 5 minutes. I will be outside by then

Noah: Ok, and whatever you do, be careful!

Dixie: I know

*They hang up*

Dixie: Im living by myself with Noah for two years so i can go out with him whenever i want. Bye!

Before they can say anything, i walked out and went over to Noah. We both entered the car, buckled up and he started driving

Noah: Is the seatbelt hurting you Dix?

Dixie: A little

Noah: Remove it and place it just like you did last time

Dixie: No, im fine. The windows in this car is tinted right?
