Chapter 114 ~ Born

Dixies Pov:

Its currently 2:39am and Noah and i are waiting for them to return with bean. They took bean about 15 minutes ago to get him cleaned up and checked so they should be back anytime soon. Delievery took me almost 40minutes, which i know is a pretty long time, but it was painful as fuck and i needed to take a few breaks in between. Noah is seated on the chair, next to me, and im on the bed. As soon as the door opened, both Noah and my eyes shooted to the door where we saw bean. They placed bean in my arms to get skin to skin, and told me everything about bean

Nurse: Your baby is healthy. You successfully delivered a healthy baby boy. He was born on Monday February 26th at exactly 2:17am and weighs 6.3lb. He is completely healthy so you would be shifted in another room, where you will stay in for a day or two, just for us to check up on your baby to make sure that there are no complications. He is 5 weeks premature but thats fine since its normal for first time moms to deliver a premature baby

Dixie: How long from now will all this pregnancy weight melt away?

Nurse: Ideally around 6-12 months but seeing that you didnt gain alot of pregnancy weight and you were skinny from before, it will probably take you like 2-3months for the most

Dixie: Ok, good. Thank you. Also, how many times for the most should i breastfeed him a day? I want to make sure that i dont over feed him for him to get ill quickly

Nurse: About 8-12 times per day

Dixie: Ok

The nurse shifted my bed and Noah moved al our stuff into another room. This room had a crib next to my bed and a little bigger couch than the other room so Noah can fit properly on it. He placed all our bags down and sat on the chair next to me as the nurses left the room and shut the door on the way out. I held bean in mt arms, doing skin to skin with him as Noah placed on of his hand on my thigh

Noah: You did it gorgeous

Dixie: No, we did it. We got our perfect boy, babe

Noah: Yes we did. Do you want to tell him his name first?

Dixie: Can i?

Noah: Of course you can bubba

Dixie: Welcome to the world, Ryan Lucas Beck

Noah: Our family has expanded baby

Dixie: I know. Call our family. You can call one member from each. Call on a group video call so they can all see

Noah: Ok

Noah facetimed his dad and my mom. It rang a few times the they answered and he held the phone where they can only see him

Noah: Dad can you get everyone and Mrs. Beck can you get Bryce?

Dixie: Charli?

Noah: Only if you want too

Dixie: Yes please. We may not be on good terms but im not so heartless one time

Noah: And get Charli as well, Mrs. Beck

Everyone came by the phone and i saw Noah smiled when he saw all of them. He genuinely loves his family and thats something that i will always admire about him. There arent any kind of arguements in his family, like there is in mine

Noah: We have a surprise for everyone

Amy: Oooooo. What is it?

Heidi: Did the baby come?

Tatum: Isnt it too early?

Dixie: It is but he did come early

Noah turned the phone to me and they saw Ryan laying on my chest. He is so tiny, its unbelieveable. Everyone face was surprised. I scooted around a little an Noah came and layed on the bed, on his side, as he turned the camera to face all three of us. Im appy that they didnt put me on one of those tiny ass beds, they put me on a bed a little smaller than our dorm bed so we fit perfectly on it. Noah layed down on his back and rest his head on part of my chest
