Chapter one
"Autumn are you ready?" Lydia asked peeking her head around into my room.
"Yeah, Just give me a minute." I responded, as I continued to put my notebooks into my bag.
She walked in taking a seat on my bed, checking the paint on her fingernails. But not even seconds later she let out a groan, and walked over to the mirror to check her outfit for the millionth time.I love my sister to death, don't get me wrong, but she can be so impatient sometimes.
"I can't be late for the first day of my Sophomore year Auttie"
I turned and gave her a look flinging my bag over my shoulder. "Yeah well it's my Sophomore year too Lyd."
My sister is a genius, but she tends to forget that we are in the same grade sometimes. Instead of me going to into the first grade after kindergarten, they decided to move me up to the second grade because I already knew everything learned in the first, so that put Lydia and I in the same class. In our situation some siblings wouldn't be as close, I'm only a year younger but who wants their younger sibling all up in their business right? But our relationship is different, we have always been best friends.
"Come here and let me take a look at your outfit" She ordered. I mentally groaned, but made my way over to her holding in any kind of attitude. It was just way too early to deal with the wrath of Lydia Martin.
"You picked this out for me yesterday at the mall," I reminded her, as she examined every last inch of my outfit.
I was wearing a plain white long sleeved shirt, a High waisted turquoise skirt, with black tights underneath. Paired along with some neat lace-up Oxford shoes. I personally loved this outfit, and Lydia did yesterday. I swear if she changes her mind...
"You look gorgeous." She said smiling. I let out a sigh of relief, thank God. "love the bow in your hair, it's great touch." she added.
"Thanks sis," I said looking into the mirror checking my makeup and hair one last time. My hair was pulled half back with a black bow, and my brown loose curls flowed down my back.
People who didn't know my family were usually surprised that Lydia and I were sisters. Lydia got the strawberry blonde hair from mom, and then I got dads brown hair. Our facial features were similar, but our eyes were pretty much dead on.
"Alright come on, I have to meet Jackson at his locker before class starts," She said as she dragged me downstairs.

I hopped out of the car slinging my bag over my shoulder. Another year in jail. Fantastic. I followed behind my sister who was on a mission to find her boyfriend as usual.
"That is freaking awesome! I mean, seriously, it's the best thing that has ever happened in this town since...the birth of Lydia Martin," Stiles said, shifting his attention from Scott to my sister who was prancing towards the front steps to the school. I let her go ahead in without me, choosing to straggle behind so I could meet up with my best friends. "Hey Lydia! You look....Like you're gonna ignore me again." Stiles said, the expression on his face shifting into defeat.
"But her sister won't!" I said, putting myself in between the two boys.
"Hey there you are, we've been wondering where you were! Thanks for answering our messages last night." Scott said, crossing his arms over his chest.
