A strange creature. It's the only way I can describe that thing.

Huh? Who am I? Why I am Doctor W.D Gaster.

Maybe you will know someone similar to me. You people would call them Gaster Fraction, yes? I am the whole version of them. I'm stuck in this creature. So Lonely and guilty. I'm now a fuel for this creature, allowing it to roam free and destroy. I doubt im the only person who's been victim to this misery. Yet right now im alone.

You think someone else should be here right? Well no. No one is here. Not a single SOUL...

VOID had sensed the mass amounts of souls from a literal AU away. They swooped in from above and shot out a tentacle-like attack. It pierced through Floweys stem, preventing them from escaping.

"What? Who the fuck are you?" Flowey exclaimed with utter anger. He wasn't damaged. He had so many souls that he felt immortal. He attempted to use his Vines to set himself free but to no avail. Sans smirked. He knew he couldn't die and therefore didn't care about VOID.
"need some help?" He asked politely. Flowey gave him a short death stare in response. The plant instantly gasped in shock as he felt a sharp pain in his back.

Actual pain.

He felt his body give out and turn into dust.

This can't be! He thought in anger. I can't die! I'm a god! This isn't fair. This isn't fair! THIS ISNT FAIR!!!!!

Dust scattered across the barrier. Souls were flying everywhere. It was a pretty sight for Sans. Almost mesmerising. The white souls mixing with the black and white background. They all glowed. Some yellow, others orange, there was a few that were green. They all had a story to tell. A life. There were the ones that stuck out the most. The human souls. Yellow, blue, cyan, orange, green, purple and an unmistakable red.

Sans knew it wasn't to last. But he expected it to end differently. Monster souls can't persist after death, and boss monster souls can last seconds at most. Yet they all survived long enough for VOID to absorb them all.

This is a catastrophe. Chara commented, watching the events unfold. Sans, now free since Flowey was dead, rushed into action saving as many souls as he could. Well, by savings he meant destroying to prevent them from being absorbed by VOID. He focused on the human souls, destroying them apart from Kindness. That included Frisk's soul. VOID was visibly annoyed but didn't date all that much.

No kidding, Sherlock. Frisk replied to Chara's comment.
"shut the hell up, you 2. it's distracting as fuck." Sans said, focusing on shooting souls out of the air. The two ghosts looked at each other in confusion.

They are dead. How is Sans able to hear them?

Sans stopped shooting bones, as all souls were either destroyed or absorbed. VOID chuckled. He had won. Sure, he lost a couple of souls, but he was now a god. He chuckled once again and disappeared.

Sans took a moment to sit down and think about the things that had jits happened.

They had a perfect pacifist ending where all the problems between him and Frisk had seemed to be fixed, then got betrayed by a flower, and then a demonic void creature killed said flower and became a god.

man, my life sucks.

So you can hear me? Chara asked.

Sans sighed. "it's more than that. i have your soul." Sans replied in a voice as calm as he could muster. Chara was shocked. She couldn't respond.
"i saw it happening. I saw who I now know is VOID, trying to kill you and asriel. asriel, being a monster, and having a weaker soul, was long gone. I knew you had a chance, so I took your soul and escaped." Sans explained. He wanted his past and this was one of the many things he hated about it.
