Steve may have been the smallest out of all of us and sure, he may have had more health problems than you could imagine but he always had heart.
That was the Steve I knew, the one that never stopped fighting for what was right. To me, he was always a superhero even without the serum and the shield.
And Bucky, he was a good friend, one that you could consult in. He could care less about where you came from or what you looked like, he just did what needed to be done in his eyes.
As for me, you didn't see much, but that's what you're here for right?
So when WWII came about, we all knew we had to do something and the fear of not making it back was in us but it never could stop us.
That was the year the first avenger rose and sank.
