I sat on Techno's couch, listening to the playful banter of Techno and Wilbur. I was silently tuning them out, occasionally nodding or giving a slight laugh when needed. Then the topic of 'battle scars' crossed the table, and almost instantly an image of my huge scar on my back crossed my mind. Goose-bumps erupted across my body and a shiver struck through my spine. Of course, they noticed this and took it as a sign that I had a few 'battle scars.'
