I wasn't planning on doing anything today really just som grocery shopping.
"My birthday coming up what you getting me?" Yanna asked.
"how about you get a job"
"girl no" she chuckled "my sister making money"
"at some point in time you gon need a job" I tell her pushing the cart around.
"not right now though"
I grabbed the corn on the cob and bagged it up.
"you and Taurus still going on y'all trip for new year's?"
"ion know" I shrug "maybe"
"I want some fruit so get fruit"
I really hated shopping with Yanna she always made me spend unnecessary money.
I paid for everything and we left she wanted to make a cupcakes since she's been craving them but i can't lie me too.
"okay so get the eggs out" she told me while she read the box.
"We could've just got cupcakes from somewhere but you wanna be extra" I roll my eyes getting the eggs out.
"Ari face me real quick"
"what?" I turn to her confused
"oh my gosh" she said under her breath
"what?"I ask once again.
"nothing chilee" she waved me off
"where you going?"
"to my room i'll be back" she said grabbing her phone darting up the stairs.
I mentally rolled my eyes starting the cupcakes myself. I got to mixing the shit I felt like a chef.
Ayanna POV "Ma?" I say into the phone.
"What girl?"
"I think Ari pregnant"
"She took a test not too long ago and it was negative"
"But those can be wrong right?"
"I mean" she started "yeah"
"I'm serious ma her stomach poking" I tell her
"Ima call her"
"Don't tell her I said nothing" I say
"Alright. Good night"
"Good night"
"Love you"
"Love you too" I hang up the phone and go back downstairs seeing Ari pouring the batter in the cupcake thing.
"Why you leave me?" She asked putting the stuff in the oven.
"I forgot I needed to call somebody" I lie.
"Must be a boy"
"Girl" I laugh going to clean up the trash left over.
"I'm really hungry" she said biting her nails.
"The cupcakes will be done soon"
"Ima lay down" she said walking over to the couch.
Her hand fell to her stomach and she just rubbed it in circular motion.
"Something in there?" I ask halfway joking
"No kid" she looked over at me.
"You sure you ain't got tee tee baby in there" I ask sitting on the other part of the sectional.
"Yanna I said I ain't pregnant stop pressing me" she said getting loud.
She wasn't yelling but her voice went up from the normal tone.
"Okay" I said sitting quietly and her phone rang.
"What's up?"
Ariella POV// Ari "What's up?" I ask my mama
"I just called to check on you, you good?"
"Yeah" I yawn.
"Yanna not giving you a hard time?" She asked.
"Nah just running up my pockets" I say looking at Yanna who looked at me.
"You ever go to the doctors for that pregnancy test?"
Here we go.
"I ain't pregnant Aight?"
"I just don't want you to find out before it's too late"
"I'm fine. I ain't throwing up, stomach not big, nothings changed in my appetite, not nauseous, nothing"
"Ari I'm serious just because you not having symptoms don't mean Taurus isn't and just because they haven't shown up don't mean they won't eventually"
"Bye mama" I say getting fed up.
"Okay love you"
"Love you too" I say hanging up the phone looking at Yanna once again "you told her you thought I was pregnant didn't you?"
"You just look pudgy"
"Ari you can tell me if you are because your posting pictures from months ago"
"Okay Yanna I'm pregnant"
"You serious or you just saying that to make me shut up" she asked suspiciously raising her eyebrow.
"I found out the day of the test" I shrug showing her the picture.
"Why you lie to everybody then?"
"I haven't told Taurus yet"
"You wanted to tell him first"
"Yeah" I get up going through my purse pulling out an ultrasound
"That's my tee tee baby right there?" Yanna asked pointing at the blob
"Mhm"
"Oh my god" she covered her mouth crying
"You can't even tell it's a baby and you crying" I laugh.
"Ima be an auntie"she poked out her bottoms lip.
"Don't be telling everybody it ain't nobody business."
"I won't" she said wiping a tear
"You so dramatic" I laugh snatching the ultrasound.
"Auntie Yanna or Tee tee Yanna?" She asked
"We'll see when it get here"
"Don't call the baby no it" she mugged me.
"Girl"
"When you plan on telling the baby daddy?"
"If he doesn't realize before then I'm thinking thanksgiving"
"Whew I wanna be there" she smiled.
"Of course" I say going to get the cupcakes out the oven.
