A Special Family Night

It was 2am in the morning when Gamze came in to give Can his medication. He sat up so he could take it and whisper so he wouldn't wake up Sanem "Thank you for coming Gamze. Thought you never would have to come back here again under these circumstances didn't you?"........ "I told you if you guys ever need me to call didn't I"......."Yes you did."......."Besides, it gave me an excuse to come see how the twins were doing. I was taking a leave of absence for awhile. So you all got me for quite sometime time."........."Why don't you go back to bed. I think I will go sit out on the balcony. I heard there was a meteor shower tonight"....... "Come on, I'll sit out there with you. But, you need to sit in the chaise lounge to support your neck and take a blanket with you to cover up. We don't need your pneumonia to get any worse" She helped Can go out on the balcony and had him sit down on the lounger. Voices could be heard from everyone sitting out on their balconies watching the meteor showers. CeyCey and Ayhan were laying down on the grass on a blanket. Everyone started to say hi to each other letting them know who was up watching. CeyCey called out Sanem's name and Gamze told hi that she was sleeping "Go get her ass up to make this a Family event" CeyCey replied to Gamze. She turned to Can "Should I go wake her"......."No, if she doesn't feel my warmth in bed it will wake her up. Give her 10 minutes she'll be out searching for me" Sure enough Sanem woke up, feeling a breeze coming in the room from the open sliding door she climbs out of bed and walks out "There you are. Are you ok Can"......."Yes baby."........."There is some pasta from dinner. Do you want some since you haven't eaten anything."....... "Can, you really should eat. Its not good to take your medication on a empty stomach" said Gamze "I'll be back with a plate" Sanem peeked in on the twins before she went down to fix Can a meal. ......... CeyCey was in the kitchen preparing a tray with Chocolate Covered Strawberries, two wine glasses, a bottle of wine and one Red Rose in a vase. When Sanem walks in she saw what he was doing. "Its about time your ass got up to join us"......" What are you talking about"........"We are all watching the meteor shower"........"I forgot......damnit CeyCey aren't you turning into a romantic man"......."You'll see why shortly. Fix Can Bey his meal and watch from above"........"Are you doing what I think you are?"......."Yes. I got Osman's permission" Sanem screamed from excitement and gave CeyCey a big hug. He covered her mouth and said "Shhhhhh"......."Give me 10 minutes before you ask. Let me get upstairs and get Can situated with his meal. I want to watch this"........"OK, now hurry" Sanem heads up with a meal and tea so happy and excited she almost tripped walking out on the patio. She placed the tray on the table in the corner. Gamze guided Can to sit there so he could eat. It just so happened that he could see CeyCey and Ayhan down below. Sanem was standing next to Can at the railing and started to throw grapes to let CeyCey know she was ready. "Sanem, why are you throwing grapes at Ceycey?"......."Hush Can! Watch and listen" CeyCey looked up and saw Sanem jesture a thumbs up. He poured the two glasses of wine and fed Ayhan a strawberry. It was so quite as everyone was watching the meteors that a owl could only be heard. Sanem was resting her chin on her closed fist as she propped it on the railing watching her two best friends. CeyCey began to speak "Ayhan my Love, as we watch and see the hundreds of meteors shoot across the sky. Each one represents the showers that I feel in my heart for you since I met you. Your are my one and only and I want to shower you with Love each and everyday for the rest of our lives." CeyCey stops and pulls something out of his shirt pocket. He opens it and a light could be seen from above shining bright. Sanem hits Can on his arm "Are you watching"......."Yes, Sanem" You could see Ayhan covering her mouth as she looks upon it. Than Ceycey says "Will you marry me and together we can shoot meteors not just tonight but everyday for the rest of our lives."................"Yes, I will marry you" He than placed the ring on her finger. You could hear oohs and aww's around the property. Can yells "Bravo Ceycey and Ayhan. It's about damn time" Nihat yells. Claps and Congratulations were spoken and Mevkibe yells "Kiss, Kiss" as everyone joined in repeating it until they both stood up and kissed one another. By now Sanem was in tears watching her best friends. Can took her hand and pulled her on his lap and wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

"Did you know about this"........."When I went down to fix your meal. He was preparing the tray for them and told me that he was going to ask Ayhan. He got permission from Osman and thought tonight would be a perfect time to ask her as they watched the meteor shower." Can than wiped the tears from her cheek and pulled her to his lips and gave a her kiss.

All of a sudden two little babies started to cry from all the loud voices. Mihriban said "Since the whole house is up now, we might as well go down and celebrate this happy occasion. Sanem and Mevkibe went in to get Ates and Deniz. Emre and Leyla came out of their room. Nihat, Aziz and Gamze guided Can down the stairs and sat him out on the patio in one of the loungers to make him comfortable next to Emre. When the twins were brought out, they immediately spotted their Dada. It was the first time they had seen each other since Can came him. Can held his arms up to have Sanem give him Deniz first. She gave him to Can. He hugged his little lion as Deniz gently placed his little hand on the neck brace rubbing ever so lightly. Sanem help position Deniz on his left leg than handed Ates to him on his right. Ates opened her mouth as she put it on his nose as a kiss jester and made a um sound like Sanem does when Can kisses her. He was now full of smiles and tears with his precious babies happy to be with their dada again.
