Take Things As They Come

Sanem went into town just missing Leyla. So she decided to shop for awhile. She sat across from a very high price Hotel watching the people walk in and out. "Screw it" So over to the Hotel Sanem goes. She walks right up to the desk and ask "Do you have a room available for the night?".........."Unfortunately Miss, we only have a suite on the top floor"......."I'll take it" pulling out her credit card to pay for the room. "Do you have a phone I could use? I lost mine and I need to make a call."......"There is one in your suite"........"Good" The bus boy takes her and shows her to her room. First thing she needed to do was call her mother and let know she wouldn't be home tonight and just maybe the next night. She told her mother what happened and asked her to make Can take care of the twins so he could see what it was like not to have control with Deniz and Ates. She was bond and determined at this point to teach Can a lesson about its ok not to have control in your life. That sometimes things just aren't going to go the way he wants them. After she got off the phone with Mevkibe she left the hotel. Went to the Liquor Store bought herself a nice sweet bottle of Moscato Wine. Went over to her Father's Grocery store and bought a cheese tray, fresh fruit and crackers. She refused to walk out without paying for it.  The girl at the counter was surprised since she was the owners daughter. Sanem needed one more thing. In the Bakery she goes. She gets a slice of Cheese Cake topped with Strawberry gel with shaved chocolate on top. Then she sees fudge and added that what the hell she got half a dozen chocolate covered Strawberries too. Back to the Hotel she went ready to relax eat and drink her bottle of wine. The bus boy saw her walk in with both hands full of bags and went over to help her. As she walked by the spa, there was a special on a full body massage. She peeked in the door and asked if they had any openings. She was thrilled that someone had canceled and they could take her now. She had the bus boy take her things to her room. Than went to get a well deserved massage.

Back at the Island:
Mevkibe walks out on the patio seeing Can in the play area with the twins. "Can, let me guess you wouldn't listen to Sanem AGAIN. Here you go being all controlling. She isn't coming home tonight. So you are on baby duty until she returns"........"Did she call?"......."I wouldn't be telling you that if she didn't"......."How was she?"......."OK, it will do her good to be alone for a night"......."Where is she?"......."Son, let it go. What have I told you about your control issues. Let this be a lesson for you. Take care of the twins as you were told." Can just looked at his Dad and went back to playing with Deniz and Ates. Baris came around the corner and asked if anyone needed anything because he had to go pick up somethings that had come in. Can spoke up "Will you drop Sanem's cell phone off to her at the Hotel" He knew what he was doing when he asked Baris "Sure, what Hotel is she staying at?"......."Ask her Mother! She knows more then me. I'm her Husband and it's pretty bad that I wasn't told"......Mevkibe gave him a nasty look when Can made the smart ass remark. She had Baris come over to her and whispered what Hotel. Can was getting quite annoyed. The twins started to have a major meltdown. Can was trying to get them to calm down in which it wasn't working. He looked over at Mevkibe "Will you help me here. How does Sanem get them settled."......."Figure it out for yourself. Next time when you want to be sarcastic you think before you open you smart ass mouth" Mevkibe and Mihriban sat there watching Can trying anything to get them calmed down. The two of them knew what was going on. Can was getting frustrated by the minute. "They need to go down for their nap Son" Aziz said as he walked out of the house. Mihriban and Mevkibe didn't say a word and just shock their heads at Aziz. "How do you know this Dad?"......"You'll learn by their actions and cries. Sanem has them on a schedule and by what the clock says it was definitely their nap time" Can picks them up and takes them up to the nursery, changing diapers first then in the crib they went. He sat in the rocker until they went to sleep and sent a text to Sanem.

Back at the Hotel:
Sanem came out of the Spa feeling so relaxed and was waiting for the elevator when the bus boy rushed over to her. "Ms Sanem, a gentleman dropped your phone off with your charger"......."Thank You" The elevator door opened as she was checking her phone for messages. She got in and hit the button to her floor. She saw a missed call from Can that was from this morning. Just as she was getting off the elevator her phone binged for a text <Will you please call me so we can talk. I Love You>....."Not tonight Can" saying it out loud and turned off her phone. Sanem went into her room showered to get the oils off of her body and out of her hair. Afterwards she sat out on the terrace with a glass of wine. It was dark now so she went back in her room sat on her bed with all her goodies and her bottle of wine. She put on a movie to watch eating and drinking to her hearts content. She turned on some music and began to dance around the room as she drunk her last glass that was left. She begin to feel it, flopped down on the bed and passed out.

Can had a rough end to his day with the twins so after they were out for the night he only hoped, went down to have a glass of whiskey. Mevkibe was still up watching a movie, so he went over to sit and unwind. Mevkibe looked over at him "You did just fine with the twins. Not bad for being your first time alone taking care of them while Sanem is gone for the night."........"Thanks! I have learned a lesson about that I can't control things all the time that's for sure."......."Good! So what are you going to do about it?"......"Take things as they come I guess. I didn't realize what Sanem deals with when it comes to the twins when I am not around. It opened my eyes and makes me appreciate her even more. Two babies are alot of work and totally exhausting"........"She deserves a break once in a while. Next time you'll know what to do."........"I have to admit that I was not happy with you and Mihriban not coming to help me but, the more I thought about it, you both were teaching me something to. I messed up today with Sanem and now I have to fix this"......."Yes you do Can. Tell you what!  Get up way before the sun comes up. I will take care of the babies, head to the Hotel and fix this. She was really hurt because you didn't listen to her and tried to control her business. So what if she changed it, so be it. She Loves you very much and wanted to do something for you. That should tell you where her heart is"........."Yes, she is not selfish that's for sure. Thanks for all you do also Momma M."........"Your welcome my son. Go to her in the morning. Let me know when you leave so I can get up and take care of Deniz and Ates. Love you" ......"Love you too" The television got turned off and they both went to bed. Can layed there for a while before he went to sleep thinking about how he was going to approach Sanem in the morning.
