A Trilogy "Against the Odds" Book 2

Where Things Stand at this Point

A month had gone by. Sanem was in Therapy twice a week. Can had been spending more time over at the Mainland with Photo Shoots and in between he would help Deren at he Agency to ease her load due to business booming. Sanem was ok with it since she still hadden told Can that she was seeking help and in Therapy. She just felt that she needed this time to focus on herself and heal within. They still slept in separate rooms, no physical contact between them. Can was ok with that because he Loves her so much and was still willing to let her lead. Their communication got better between them. She was put on anxiety pills to help her get through some of the most difficult sessions. Her nightmares and flash back subsided immendlessly as the weeks went on.
Sanem met some very special people at the Group Sessions. Several were Veteran's that had gone threw combat and experienced some gruesome things. It had gotten to the point that they all became close to were she called them Uncle and they considered her as a daughter. There was one girl about her age that had experienced the same things as Sanem did. It turned out that she was raped by the two same bastards. The two of them became good friends and became one another's support system. They would call each other when days or sessions became hard and made it a point to have lunch once a week. This girl had moved on the Big Island so long ago to escape and try to rebuild her life.

Leyla's pregnancy was progressing well. Mevkibe was spending more time to help her out. When Can was away, Mihriban and Aziz would watch the twins when Sanem had to work. Someday's she was told by the Therapist to except to be exhausted that it was part of the healing process and would stay the night with Mihriban and Aziz.

Gamze and Sanem finally talked about the night with Can and Ibriam sitting on the stone wall at the Island. Can and Ibriam were seen that day down at the pier having a big argument. Sanem and Gamze watched Can give Ibriam a hard punch in his face causing him to go over board. Gamze told Sanem that she was upset at first because it was a new thing for her that she experienced. But, in the end she liked that side of a wild and kinky sex life. Sanem told her that this was not her thing and was hers and Ibriam's personal business to not discuss it with her anymore. It didn't effect their relationship at all so it was never brought up again. As far a Sanem and Ibriam,  she kept her distance from him and only dealt with business related things it that should ever continue. That same day Ibriam and Gamze left the Island and never returned again.

So there you have it my faithful readers. I know some of you remarked about how sad things were. But life is not all based on peaches and creams. We all struggle with somethings sometime or another in our own lives. I want to Thank All of You for supporting me through this story and all those nice comments that kept this story going. I still have some chapters to write and you can rest assure it will have a happy ending. Can and Sanem will have a big breakthrough and no more sadness. So hopefully I can rap Book 2 up very soon. There will be Book 3 with some other twist but like I said it will have a happy ending. Thank you again for all your support.
