At the Farm

It was early Friday Morning Can and Bulut helped load their things on the plane. While Sanem buckled the twins securely in their car seats.

The flight went well for the twins. They all unloaded the plane throwing it in the back of Can's truck. Then headed straight to the Farm. Once there Aunt Remide was waiting for them as they pulled up to her house. Bulut helped Can take their belongings into the house than walked down to the small house that once was his. Bulut found the key that he had hidden when he left. As he unlocked the door he took a deep enhale before opening the door. He couldn't believe what he saw. Everything was the way he had left it. Sheets were still covered over his furniture. The place was dusty and full of cobwebs as expected from not being lived in for quite sometime. He began to clean it up and before you knew it he sat down on his couch when a feeling of peace came across him that he was possibly finally home.

Can and Sanem spent a few hours with Aunt Remide. She was preparing a meal when Bulut walked in. He told them that he couldn't believe that his place was never used and in very good condition. It was determined by Aunt Remide that since his house was off the beaten path no one ever went there. After the meal it had been decided to checkout the Stable first. That way if any repairs were needed it would be the first thing to work on so Albatross, Phoenix and their young foal would be moved there first. Bulut felt it was best to just move them one time.

Walking down the lane to the horses stable, Can and Bulut were ahead talking as Sanem was trailing behind with Deniz and Ates taking their adorable little time stopping to pick up stones and anything that a toddler saw causing them to stop to look at in their new surroundings. The first stop before going into the barn was looking at the fences that were around the pasture for the horses. Some needed to be put back in place, other then that it was in fairly good condition just weathered. The grass has very high so Can and Bulut would make it a point before they leave to get the tractor out that had a mower attached to it and cut all the grass on the property. Aunt Remide told them that she would get her groundkeeper to help them since it could be an all day job. They would rake up the clippings to save for the horses to feed on.

Standing outside of the barn Can took some pictures of what needed to be done with that.  It wasn't big things so that helped knowing Bulut could fix it with a hammer and nails with a new coat of stain. The windows weren't broken just need to good cleaning. Sanem had a pad of paper making a list of all the repairs that needed to be done as well as a material list. It was now time to go inside the Stable. It was trash laying around from when the task force used it to store the files of cases and anything else that was stored in it, dusty, cobwebs but, it was pretty much not as bad as they thought. The stall doors had to be re-hung, sweeped out restocked with hay and food. New feeding tubs would be needed but other than that it the horses could move back in. Sanem was letting the twins run around and climb as normal toddlers do when Can and Bulut went up in the loft to check that out. Next thing she heard was drums being played.

Can had spotted a set of drums that someone left behind, he goes over to them and starts playing them. Bulut sees an electric guitar over in the corner picks it up and starts playing it along with Can. They look at each other with very impressed expressions. Sanem comes up the stairs with the twins following behind her. Deniz and Ates begin dancing around the room as Sanen stood there watching the four of them. A light bulb goes off in Can's and Bulut's head at the same time they blurt out "Let's start a band!" Sanem just stands there shaking her head at them like just what I need. "Hey Bebek! You could be the lead singer. I have heard you sing and your voice is awesome. Hey, we could even open a night club and play there. The loft could be our practice room" Sanem said in return "Like you have time to do that Can. And this loft belongs to me for my creams. Besides, you would freak out the horses down below. So you would have to build your own place to practice in"......."Fully noted. Add that to the list my Love"........"Guys we need to stay focused here. There are three houses to check out yet I promise you both can play later"

Can scooped up Ates and carried her out of the stable and little Deniz wanted to walk on his own outside. He followed Can and Bulut at they walked to Sanem's house. Sanem walked behind to pick up Deniz because he was tired of walking and wanted her to pick him up. When they reached the porch of the house. Sanem had the twins sit down on the steps to wait for Can and Bulut to inspect the outside exterior. They both went outback to look at the pool and patio. They went in the house through the back door. Immediately they covered their mouth and nose from the stench that was horrible inside. It was a disaster. "I hear women say all the time about men being slobs. This puts it on top Can. Didn't their Mother's teach them anything."........"I'm sure they did, some of them don't care" The two of them went through the whole house. Sanem heard the front door open and saw them come out closing the door behind them. "Bebek, its best that you and the twins don't go in for sanitary reason. We will need to get a big trailer dumpster in here and hire a crew to despose of the remaining contents. I will tell you later what needs to be added to the list. Next they walked down to the bigger home that the women stay in. As expected it was nice and neat only thing that was really needed was a fresh coat of paint and the pool clean up. That would be the last thing to do since it was in the best shape. The small home was the last to see. Mitat stayed in there so it also really only needed fresh paint and the hardwood floors sanded and  re-finished. The rest of the time was spent looking at what once was the vegetable gardens and the chicken coop.

When they went back to Can's Aunt and Uncle's. Dinner was almost ready so they sat around and told his Uncle what was find, needed to be fix and tomorrow they would work on cutting the grass and maybe depending on Sanem's decision do the small  repairs on the stable to have it ready to move the horse there. After the meal Can helped Sanem get the twins ready for bed before he went and jammed out with Bulut. When he was done she let him go and have a fun.
