Closure

Sanem had put Deniz and Ates down for bed. The house that her Grandmother once lived in was now Aunt Remide's. The four of them were sleeping together in the king size bed that just happen to be the room she stayed in when Nihat brought her there to live. The house was quite, Can and Bulut had gone down to the barn to play some music and drink some beer. Aunt Remide had gone to bed also. Sanem was sitting up on her side of the bed when she looked over to a small door that had brass handles on it. She got off the bed sat down on the floor in front of it and slowly opened the door. It was a book shelf that was built inside to wall. She was surprised to see some of her books and tiny wooden trinket boxes still on each shelf. She opened them one by one and there were some of her rings, charms and brooches that her Grandmother had given her. Some were of value and others were just your average custom jewelry. One of the boxes had a very small key that she didn't know what it belonged to. On the very bottom of the shelf a small antique box was sitting way in the back as if it was hidden from view. It had a little key whole, so Sanem used the key to see if it would open the box. Guess what it did. Inside was a letter with Sanem's name on the envelope and what looked to be a few more recipes for creams. She than got up off the floor looked over at her sleeping babies then went to sit down in the chair that was next to the window and opened the letter.

My Sweet Pea,
I am writing this letter to you because my time on earth is coming to an end. I knew one day you would return and find this. There was so much that I wanted to tell you but, unfortunately you were away longer then I expected. Anyway, I am so sorry that you were never able to come back here due to the Task Force taking the Farm over. You can Thank You Grandfather for that. We had so many arguments over this and begged him to NOT let it go. A long story short I sat down with your Father and Uncle to make sure my final wish would be granted. That was please don't let them take the Farm from you. So the three of us made a plan. Yes, you would have to be told that you could never return but in order for this plan to work we had to go along with the Task Force. After they would move to a new location in which it would have to had to be been periodically for security reasons. The farm had to sit dormant for sometime. It was planned to have your Uncle push the documents for the switch over to the side and pretend that he had forgotten about it. Then when the time was right go to the Divit's and let them know that he forgot, tell them that the Farm was still owned by you and Mihriban, tear it up right in front of them, retire, walk out and never to be seen or heard from again.  Yes, your Father and him will still stay in touch secretly. So please don't be mad at us. We only wanted to look out for you. And believe me Sweet Pea this was the last thing I ever wanted to do was hurt you. Sanem, take this Farm back, make it your home, a place to raise your children than, pass it on to them and their future generations. Your Father, Uncle and I wanted you to have it and you definitely deserve it. This is between you and me and felt I needed to tell you so I can have the closure that I need. They call it unfinished business and this is my way of telling you so I can leave this life at peace.

You will also see a few more recipes that I never gave you. These were the most secret of them all, you do as you want with them whether you make them personally for yourself or sell them its your deal baby girl.

It is time for me to go. I only wish I could have been able to say goodbye to you in person, hear your voice one last time and have you sing to me as I closed my eyes for the last time. I am sure that you wanted the same. Just remember that I am always in your heart and who knows I may just appear in some other form or spirit. You will be just fine Sweet Pea, now go live the life that you always wanted and deserve. Until we meet again. I Love you now and forever. Remember this, It's not Goodbye, its until we meet again!

Sanem sat in the chair as the tears ran down her face. Reading the recipes. She put them neatly back in the box. Holding the letter close to her heart.

Can finally came in and saw her sitting in the chair sound to sleep. He pulled back the covers from her side of the bed, picked her up laying her down and covering her up. He saw a paper laying on the floor went over to it picking it up and read what was written on it. [Wow, don't worry Gram this is our little secret too.] He placed the letter in the open box then turned to look at his children and Beautiful wife sound to sleep. He went over to Sanem kneeled down next to the bed, pushed the strands of hair off her face and kissed her softly on the lips. Than went to shower and crawled into bed. He knew without a doubt what Sanem's decision would come in morning. Than fell asleep shortly after.
