It was now Saturday Deniz and Ates First Birthday. Can had made them a special breakfast as Sanem was beginning to decorate for the party that was scheduled for 1pm. Both sets of Parents were due to arrive around 10am to help prepare the trays of food. Can and Sanem felt it was best to just serve finger foods as well as chips and dips. Emre and Leyla were bringing the cake with a huge container of Chocolate and Vanilla Ice Cream. Sanem was there but her mind kept wondering off. Can saw it and went to her and asked if she was alright "Can, Ayhan said that she needed to talk to me about something last week before they left. I am just worried that something is wrong. It has been bothering all week"........."You know what? Come to think of it Ibriam said the same thing. When did Ayhan say she wanted to talk to you?"....... "Maybe tonight or tomorrow. I don't know! She said she would talk to me this weekend sometime"........."OK, try not to worry, it could be nothing. Let's just enjoy our babies first birthday celebration and than you can find out after that. I am sure Ayhan won't want to ruin this day for the twins" Sanem had Can blow up all the balloons as she got the twins dressed and ready for the party. Slowly everyone was beginning to show up. They loved the way the house was decorated, organized in just a weeks time. Sanem had Can, Aziz and Nihat started preparing the food trays while Mevkibe and Mihriban helped her put up the birthday decorations than kicked the guys out to take care of the twins as they finished with the food. Emre and Leyla showed up with the cake and ice cream. It wasn't a big deal because the intention was to let Deniz and Ates to just dig into it with their hands. That's what 1st Birthday are all about letting children make a mess of themselves with a handful of cake shoved into their little mouths.

Everyone was now there and the celebration began. The twins were all in their glory because everyone was paying attention to them all during the party and were sure hamming it up big time. Can was taking pictures and got some really awesome ones. Finally after several hours everything was cleaned up and the adults sat around just talking and having a few drinks. Sanem was in the kitchen putting the last of the dirty dishes in the dishwasher when Leyla walked in to see if she needed any more help. Sanem sat down at one of the bar stools to unwind and have a glass of wine. Leyla stood acroos from her and asked "Sanem, has Ayhan and Ceycey talked to you yet"........."No, Ayhan told me last week she wanted to talk to me. In fact she said nothing about Ceycey. Why, do you know what they want to talk to me about"........"Kind of"........"Well, I don't want to sound rude but, if you know than it must involve you"......."Sanem, I want to tell you but, it is not my decision to make. Emre told me not to say a word and let them tell you"......."Oh, so Emre knows too."........"Yes".......Sanem gets up off the stool upset and walks out to the patio with Leyla following behind her. "Sanem, please don't be made at me" Emre and Can heard her and watch Sanem walked down to the beach where Ayhan and Ceycey were. She was getting more and more upset the closer she got to them. "Leyla what did you do? I hope you didn't tell Sanem what was going on with Ceycey and Ayhan. They asked us to not say a word and let them tell them" Emre said. Can stood up "What is going on?"....... "Brother go down there and let Ceycey and Ayhan talk to you. This was a hard decision for them and the last thing they wanted to do was hurt you both after all you have done for them".........Ibriam and Gamze sat there watching, listening and shaking their heads in disbelief. Can made a sarcastic remark as he walked down to the three of them on the beach. "Thanks a fucking lot Emre and Leyla for ruining a great day!" The parents sat there in shock and demanded to know what was going on. Emre and Leyla filled them in on the whole situation.
Down at the Beach: Ayhan and Ceycey saw Sanem coming with a look on her face that they knew it was time to have that talk. Ceycey being the person he was stood up and began to get nervous as he paced back and forth on the waters edge. Next they spot Can running toward them. Sanem stopped right in front of Ayhan placing her hands on her hips and yelled to Ceycey to get his ass over here now and sit down next to Ayhan. Ceycey did as he was told knowing Sanem wasn't messing around. Can came up and stood right next to Sanem as Ceycey couldn't even look at neither one of them straight in the eyes. "OK you two, what the hell is going on. First you tell me Ayhan, that you needed to talk to me a week ago and now I hear that CeyCey needed to talk to us also. Start talking."........ They said nothing as the looked down at the sand picking it up and letting it slip through their fingers. "Look, you two are our dearest and most trust worthy friends. Please tell us what is going on. Whatever it is, we will work it out and get through it if it is that bad. Please look at Sanem and I and talk to us" Can begged them in a soft friendly voice. Sanem toned it down a notch and said "Please I beg you to please talk to us" Cecey and Ayhan looked up at them both "Will you please sit down next to us and we will tell you what is going on. We are both so afraid that you will be mad at us when we tell you and worried that our friendship will end" Ayhan said as tears began to fill in her eyes. Can took a seat next to Ceycey and Sanem sat next to Ayhan. "Is it really that bad that you both are worried over losing our friendship?" Can asked. Ceycey nodded yes. "OK, tell us what is going on. We will work it out after you tell us no matter how bad it may seem" Sanem said. Ayhan took a deep breath and began to speak.
