The wind gently blew a few strands of his hair, waking him up from his slumber.

"Oh, you're awake? How was your sleep?",
You asked, smiling softly to the man on your lap.

Kazuha turned his head to see you, admiring your beautiful (e/c) eyes.
" I slept well," he answered, "Did you get any rest?,"

"Oh,... don't mind me, it's not like I can sleep realizing that we just escaped our homeland and now on a ship to a certain nation we never went,"

Kazuha smiled sadly at your comment, slowly lifting himself to a sitting position.

"I'm sorry if I dragged you into this situation,... It's just that...I feel like I can't leave you there...and you ending up like Tomo...," he said as he held the Electro Vision tightly.

"It's okay, I'm not angry... It's just that, I'm scared, I never left Inazuma...And my only friends are you and Tomo...I let Tomo die...I wasn't able to heal him, even though I have a Hydro Vision, I was useless...I-,"

Your words were cut by Kazuha hugging you tightly. It pained him to watch you took all the blame.

"Please, (y/n),.."

You sniffled and you felt tears running down your cheek. You hugged him back and hid your face on his shoulder, letting out all the sadness that you kept alone.

"Please, don't blame yourself. It's not your fault, I, wasn't there to save him either,"

Kazuh patted your back, trying to calm you down.

"But, there's nothing we can do now. We can only try to survive. Isn't it what Tomo would say if he was here?"

You lifted your face to see him, smiling sadly.

"Yes,.."

"Then, let's live. I promise I'll never leave your side, no matter what,"

Kazuha hugged you dearly, and you wrapped your arms around his shoulder, your head rested on his neck.

The both of you stayed in the position for some time.
Kazuha stood up, carried your body into the cabin, careful to not wake you from your peaceful sleep.

"She finally got some rest, huh?"
Beidou leaned on the door of the room you're sleeping in, watching as Kazuha slowly pulled the covers.

"Yeah, (y/n) had it rough, but she'll be back, she's a strong girl,"

"Hmm, she definitely will, even if she struggled, you would help your crush, right?"

Kazuha froze as Beidou finished her sentence.
Beidou laughed and left the boy blushing like crazy.

"Well, I guess that's true... No matter what, I'll always love you, (y/n) "

Kazuha smiled and followed the Captain, leaving you to get your rest.

Bonus:

You blinked your eyes.

A tall male with red robe was standing before your eyes.

"Tomo..."

He chuckled softly,
"Hey"

You cried as you hugged him, not wanting to let him go.

"(y/n), this is my last goodbye, please take care, I will always be with Kazuha and you,"

With that, he walked away, leaving you standing there.

"Oh right, one last thing, you and Kazuha need to talk about your little crush on each other,"

You felt your cheek went red as Tomo waved, giving you a smile you always knew.

Laughing from the dream you had earlier.

" I guess, I have to, right, Tomo?,"
